Me.Justify to who? You really do talk a load of old nonsense
McB never drops 15 yards deeper ?
Didzy isn't a target man. He plays 15 yards deeper. No comparison to be made. He's much less rarely the furthest player forward and is more often challenging fullbacks and midfielders.
Sharp talk is nonsense. Physically incapable of competing at this level. Can't get on the pitch in a low scoring team. Hasn't looked likely to score a goal from open play in a fair old while. Even against a Southampton team desperately trying to let him score.
Also, what does "a better target man overall" even mean? Wins fouls late on when he comes on to try and kill a game?
Let me guess, Wilder has an agenda to keep Sharp out of the team? He gets off less than 1.5 shots per 90 minutes. He's been a fantastic servant and he's deserving of a squad place. But he's nowhere near a Premier League starter. He gets eaten alive by competent defenders
Sharp has had 16 shots in 1,182 Premier League minutes. His pass completion rate is 72%. His aerial duels won rate is 25%McB never drops 15 yards deeper ?
Dids never used as an βoutletβ target ?
Thatβs utterly naive.
Sharp is quicker and stronger than McB. His first touch is on a totally different level and as such, is able to get the ball to stick and bring others in to play much more effectively. If you canβt see that, there is no hope for you. IMHO.

I understand what you are saying but Iβm not just talking Sheff U Iβm talking in general. English players are overpriced and a lot of them fall way short technically. It can but unless you know the European market it carries a lot of risk, look at the amount of money that was spent on by Villa, Newcastle and West Ham on Wesley, Joelinton and Haller. Makes McBurnie seem like decent value. The idea that we could have gone out and bought better in Europe for a fraction of the price is unrealistic and in my opinion is a little insulting on the management and recruitment staff we have.
Sharp is not tasked with near stick set plays. That adds up to much.Sharp has had 16 shots in 1,182 Premier League minutes. His pass completion rate is 72%. His aerial duels won rate is 25%
Sharp is a better target man overall.
Dids is a better target man overall.
They get the ball to stick and retain possession FAR more effectively that McB ever has. Fact. Look it up. The info is out there.

Yes thatβs exactly what I am saying.
Wilder does have to justify himself. When itβs not working, absolutely he does. My tune has not changed and wonβt change in that regard.
Plenty of credit still in the bank and I categorically do not want a change of manager.
But the credits are being spent atm and this cannot continue adinfinitum !
Dronny if we go down do we sack him ? I think not we are building . The circumstances with this pandemic gives a very level playing field and we will struggle this season and we may go down but he will be the best man to lead us in the next few years. I don't think we will go down though . Utb
Well saidOne thing. Jordan Henderson specifically name checks McBurnie after last nights game. An admission, from the captain of one of the best teams in Europe and current PL Champions, managed by one of the best managers of the era, that McBurnie is a threat. So, Chris Wilder, Alan Knill, Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson all think McBurnie is a threat. I'll take their opinions, along with my own observations, over the weekly witch hunt and wilful ignorance seen here and all over Social Media. He's doing well, will continue to improve and should be considered integral to this United team and as such, should be supported. Not beyond criticism, but should be supported.
And on that note, he does need to put away his chances.
At least Sharp can score penalties

65.5%. Not good enough.Sharp is not tasked with near stick set plays. That adds up to much.
Winning headers is a given.
What is McB pass completion rate btw ?
.

3 penalties a game and we are laughing thenAt least Sharp can score penalties
Wrong.65.5%. Not good enough.
Twice as successful in aerial duels and as per my point earlier, we have to have that.
Exhibit BWrong.
Exhibit A
I can't even see what they are. But I'm sure they prove that in fact Sharp is AgueroExhibit B
So Dronny for new Blades boss then! Wilder needs to justify himself to us Blades ,Sharp and Mcgoldrick are better target men than McBurnie anyone want Dronny in charge ? Oh and Billy can pass better !Sharp is not tasked with near stick set plays. That adds up to much.

SimplesWell McBurnie canβt score from open play and Sharp is a bit too old so we are stuffed.

Not great when your made up points / statistics donβt actually hold water.I can't even see what they are. But I'm sure they prove that in fact Sharp is Aguero
Made up? The people who literally provide the paid stars bomb service make things up.Not great when your made up points / statistics donβt actually hold water.
Is it ?.

If what you see is Billy Sharp should be playing then we have a fundamental disagreement in how football works. I've tried numbers and observations but you are 100% sure in your view.
You think McBurnie is wank and adds nothing. I think Sharp is miles away from the required standard (with the "he's been amazing" blah blah proviso) and adds next to nothing.
I've taken numbers from fbref.com but apparently they are wrong and the numbers you've taken from somewhere are correct.
You're obviously not an idiot but your arrogance is tiresome.
It is what it is
I'll tell you what they prove, sharp is less involved in a match than mcburnie.I can't even see what they are. But I'm sure they prove that in fact Sharp is Aguero
