“He will grow to be a real fan favourite” was another quote when he signed

You can't slag McBurnie off on here, he's royalty.

It's only Billy Sharp you can stick the boot into. Forum rules innit.

£20k a week....let that sink in for a bit. Not slagging McBurnie off just saying he gets that basically for a 10 hour week. The one half decent thing that may come out of this god awful last 12 months is how obscene this is in the grand scheme of things.

Wednesday have or had players on more and than that on the last few years !

20 grand a week is fuck all in football these days. Anyway, I think it's crazy to be singling out strikers in this team. They aren't even feeding off scraps. It's not even that good.

Incidentally, the one decent chance we created in this game was when we played the ball into McBurnie's feet (rather than hoofing it at his head) and he fed Sharp to set up Stevens.

To be fair to Oli Mac, Moose and Brewster probably get the same, so think about that for a minute, atleast Mcburnie runs around!

I don’t blame Mcburnie or even Brewster,I blame Wilder.

But 95% of our fans were begging the club to buy these players...
especially Brewster.....there was numerous comments about how we won't sign him because we lack ambition.

Brighton wanted to sign Brewster but we showed more ambition.
Maybe our fans can learn from this,,,,,that every player has it's price and we shouldn't overpay.

I read some comments that we should overpay...give Liverpool 25 million and pay Brewster what ever he wants.
Some of our fans insisted paying 30 million for Brewster would be a bargain because in 3 years he's be worth 60 million.

I did think that was the case with Eze.

I don't like McBurnie, purely due to the drink drive episode. (my nephew was killed by such a cunt) But the hoof isn't his fault. He's given that role by Wilder.
He isn't a target man in the traditional sense.. Just YouTube his last season in the Champ.
The manager chooses the tactics. He's just a victim of that choice.

Where's Chabuddy? At some point, surely, you just have to put your hands up and say I backed the wrong horse.
Fucking hell. We played the exact style of football you’ll find I’ve always said will NOT bring anything from him.

Oli did fuck all. Billy did fuck all.
When are we going to stop blaming the strikers?

Why not he did absolutely nothing? He offered nothing, it must be a nightmare playing in midfield with mcburnies movement up front.. may as well stick a wheelie bin up top
What do you want him to do? Chris signed the best all round forward in the championship and tried to turn him into Jon Parkin
