“that was a good tackle from X”I always thought Lowe was OK. Not great, but OK, like Bogle without the ball skills, and injury prone as mentioned.
However, for some reason RND, despite having been injured most of his career, and let’s be honest, having had only a handful of good games, doesn’t get anywhere near the amount of stick that Lowe does. In fact he is held up as one of those who will be the missing jigsaw piece when he comes back. For me, I feel exactly the same way about him as I did Lowe, i.e. probably OK but not fit to lace prime Enda’s boots.
Roy Hodgson attacked him once.“that was a good tackle from X”
“good run with the ball there by X”
“X played well today”
Thoughts that have come to mind about RND during his admittedly stop start career.
I can’t honestly remember anything about Lowe’s peformances in a red and white kit. Nothing at all.
Who's the real wonky owl thenHe says it because a well known Wednesday supporter used to phone radio Sheffield and pretend to be his own Manchester City supporting brother and blow smoke up Wednesdays arse.
He’d bang on about how the rest of football wanted to see Wednesday rise again.
All bollocks.
The whole Wonky Owl persona is a piss take of Wednesday fans.
Think it's actually happened to two separate peooleHe outed himself when he posted a ‘from a Manchester City fan’ on a post on Owls talk from his main account.
Hence the running Wonky Owl joke.
Scored and set up a goal in the game that got us to Wembley, but hey, why ruin things with that?Roy Hodgson attacked him once.

Go on then, show us any of those commentsHi Stegosaurus here
Amazing how Lowe is suddenly shit because he's moved to Wednesday. I remember past posts.
"Solid player--a good replacement for Baldock if he leaves"
"I'd be surprised if we managed to keep Lowe next season"
"A bigger club will definitely snap a player of Lowe's calibr up"
"He's got to be worth 15 million if we sell him"
"One of the most underrated players in the Premier League bar none"
"Has to be the first name on Wilder's team sheet"
"Once again Lowe gets overlooked by Southgate"
"His defensive positions reminds me of Oh-Ah Paul McGrath"
"Our most naturally gifted full back since Vas Borbokis"
"We're worse without him to keep things tight"
"Full back, defensive midfielder, centre half, winger--Lowe can do it all"
Now he's joined Wednesday. He's suddenly shit. How fickle football fans are.
I think you might have missed the jokeGo on then, show us any of those comments
I can confirm at least one of them comments is trueGo on then, show us any of those comments
I can confirm at least one of them comments is truedon’t know about the rest. But I actually rated Lowe when he played. IMO he will be a good signing in championship for pigs. If fully fit he’s a top half champ player all day long that’s just fact. It’s his fitness what fucks him
You are entitled to your opinion I’m entitled to mine. Hope he’s a flop obviously but imo there is a decent championship player there makes no difference who he’s joined he will do well if fit in championship for any championship teamNo it's not just fact at all. That's just your opinion.
In my opinion (or is it a fact?) Max Lowe is a poor level Championship player. Add in his seemingly constant injury problems and I think he is a poor signing for them. Good. Let them find out the hard way.
As for ML and United, I was delighted when i saw that we were releasing him. Start of the rebuild and a move away from players who either i personally didn't rate and/or were a crock. ML ticked both boxes for me. Chuck in the wages he was on which were probably 'generous' for the value he gave back, and it was a good day when we moved him on.
He’ll have been out of position with a bit of a dopey look on his face for at least one goal. How many of the 4 was he defending today,
Poor player IMO.
Glad he's gone, and personally, particularly pleased he's gone to them.
Wage thief of the highest order.
Biscuit legs out for the season...?
Acute Hypochondria!Sprinkleritis?
I agree, I always thought he was competent upper half Championship left back. His main issue was injuries and not being as good as Enda Stevens.I'm not saying I totally disagree with you, I think it's more a case of he wasn't better than what in recent times we had and so the bar is set just higher than he was able to match.
