We need to strengthen LWB and I think we was right to not renew him tbh limited kid not great defensively or going forward. Mid table championship player at best I think plus injury prone.
 

Let’s be honest, he’s a decent signing for the pigs. 3rd choice at best for us. Just a “meh” player. Too nicey nice to have a bad word said about him despite many a bad word that could’ve been said about his performances. Weird player.
 
Would imagine he will be the pigs top earner or one of 😄

1 of those years he was at Forest so if you want to add the years, you have to add those apps too.
Also, his 1st season with us he wasn't injured. He was brought in as a young prospect and featured very little.

But agreed. Since returning from Forest he's always out injured

Who was the last player to leave us and move onto them? I know plenty have done the opposite journey but can't recall anyone recent/last 40 years or so.

George Underwood in 1951. He never played for the Wednesday first team.

Bernard Oxley in 1935 was the last player to move direct from us to them and actually play.

Earl Barrett played for us and then Wednesday in 1997-8 but he was on loan from Villa in each spell.
 

We need a top winger ready for the Derby game who can run him ragged (can't be that difficult)

In his last 3 championship seasons, he's been the most selected left back in teams finishing 5th, 4th and 2nd.

In our promotion season he had our second highest assists.

I'm not his dad😬

Was in a good blades team and Forest team, put him in an average team I think them stats will plummet. I think if you surveyed the fanbase who would you rather keep RND or Lowe (both prone to injuries) I’d guess at 70% would say RND. Right decision imo ok going forward poor defensively.
 
Decent on his day but those were rare.
Really hasn't moved from us to them , released and a free agent and probably didn't want to move house , schools etc . One of those nearly players , talented but just inconsistent.

Not forgetting the nearly transfer of Jimmy Hagan in February 1951. Our Board, nothing changes, tried to flog our star player to the S6 lot for a record transfer fee of £32,500. Hagan refused the pigs got relegated and he entered into Blades folklore as a result.
 
Feel like him and Bogle are very similar players. Decent (in Bogle's case good) going forward but rash and inconsistent going backwards. Bogle has played very well this season, improving defensively and looking dangerous going forward. Lowe's career has stalled since he got here due to his many injuries. Wish him all the best personally but I hope his club get relegated. Painfully.

One of the worst players in recent years, but the stats you outline don't lie...

Bold move letting him walk out of the door...
 
Some people think we are going to be upgrading our players in every department.

Truth is, Lowe would have been fine for us to retain in a division he's excelled in previously on several occasions, we could have used that experience.

We are having to rebuild almost everywhere, so I may be in the minority in suggesting that we could have kept this lad for at least another year, whilst we rebuild elsewhere.

Well, lets see who we get to replace, as in many other area's on the pitch, I just felt it was one area we could have maintained, and not worried about if the replacement was good enough or not.
