He was poor in the PL season when his bessie Bogle looked decent.
Never seen him look good once for us and last season he stated publicly he wanted a permanent move to scabs. See ya maxine.

He had great statistics, the highest of any LB in the division whilst he was fit.
The Forest fans were very impressed by his performances. They should know a decent Championship player when they see one, they'd been at the level for almost 20 years.
I watched him playing for them on TV.
He got up and down the flank and attacked much better than any of our LWBs last season. He wasn't Djed Spence levels by any means but he was decent and provided an outlet.

It's night & day from the Max Lowe we've seen for us. I think he's a confidence player and that opening day at Watford has hurt him. I don't think the fans compounding it by making him the new scapegoat is going to help matters.
Surely we want him to do as well as he can here? He is capable.

I don't think he's awful I just think he's very over rated because of his age and has some pace. Don't like his body language and he wanted a move away. Makes Bogle look like Cafu.

Of course he wanted a move away.
Nottingham is as close to where he lives as Sheffield is. They're in the Premier League and he'd have got a decent signing on fee and a salary increase.

He's not a Blades fan and had spent as long at Forest as he had here. His season with us we were terrible and he was terrible.
His season with them they were great and he was very good. Their fans didn't call him "a chump" and he was wanted.

Absolute no brainer to want the move and not worth any sort of criticism from us.

No mate I’m sure he didn’t , I don’t go to many Man City games but I know that de bruyne is a good player


Lowe has been average but I’ve seen RND/Stevens be bang average

I probably watched a handful more, on top of the obvious televised appearances just because my mate (sadly) is a Forest fan. I'd say he was overhyped by their fans, did well, but not sensational and then some here have taken that as were receiving prime Roberto Carlos back from his loan spell.

He looked decent in a side riding high on confidence and momentum, having a lot of possession and trying to play on the front foot. Hence, me saying let's not write him off yet because if we get ticking and start dominating possession with some of the ballers we now have, there'll be parallels here to how they played last year, and so he could be an asset. Still needs time to settle. The shirt is RND's to lose.
 

He's not the new scapegoat he is getting pelters because he is genuinely utter, utter tripe.

Watford away was bad enough but last night was dreadful, I'm just glad it wasn't on TV for everyone to see just how bad this lad is. He is just going through the motions for SUFC, he obviously doesn't want to be here. Balls played straight out of play, 3 touches needed to bring a slow sideways pass under control last night and he still let it go out for a throw....

What a load of utter utter tosh

I’m not quite sure how you can form an opinion on last night as there was zero tv coverage and Rob staton is more bothered about his self than commentating on the match and he hasn’t even started a proper match in the league this season

He was ranked as the 3rd best player in the league by who scored last year out of every single player in the league that includes every defender we have , so he quite clearly isn’t tripe

The only thing that is tripe is your footballing opinions

I can form an opinion on last night because I was there to witness the shitness of Lowe with my own eyes you utter utter melt. And I couldn't give a shiny shite what he did for Notts Forest last year, I only care what he is doing in a Blades shirt this year, which is nothing of any value whatsoever.

It's not just the poor performances for me, it is the body language during that Watford game, he looked gutted to come on and un-interested. If Hecky Jack and Stu can fix it and make him want to be here then yeah let's stick with him through good and bad, but so far he's not showing he wants to be here,completely understand why he might not want to be, but still at minimum we need players to be interested in playing

He may have gone but that doesn't change anything proven to be very good last year you judge players on how they do over a decent sample size of which 20 games last season is and was

This is the main point to me.

Although he’s done very little for us, he must be a decent player because it was only last season he was regularly putting in good performances for Forest.
Eventhough he regular misplace passes I’m not writing off his ability yet and will give him a chance.

My beef is that his body language makes it look he‘s not bothered, surely his attitude should be much better.

Yes Forest fans loved him Don't know why but he seems to be a different player when playing for us. Really poor in the red and white stripes.

He’s not a different player with us, he’s the same player - but with a shocking attitude. That display when he came on against Watford was a disgrace. He should be champing at the bit to get regular first team football with the club he’s contracted to and are paying his wages, but sadly he appears to not care. As someone has said earlier I couldn’t give a shit how he performed for Forest.

It lacked quality, particularly on the ball, but he didn't disappear or give up.

And whilst you might not care about his performances at Forest, they were very recent and give an indicator as to his capabilities.
I completely get the criticism of his performances with us, as they've been poor but it's the over-reactionary nonsense that he'll "never do it here," "get rid of him," "he's League 1" that I find ridiculous.

Difference of opinions Captain, no problem.

I do hope he comes good (I'll always support a player wearing the Blades colours) but I was very worried that the signs were not good in his cameo at Watford. If he really was ripping it up at the City Ground then why hasn't even a glimpse of that been shown up to now.

Let's give him a few games to improve, then see what the situation is.
