Don't see why we wouldn't get £3m for him.
We paid a combined £8m for him and Bogle. Bogle was the more valuable asset at around the £5m mark.

Since then Lowe has played a number of matches in the PL without necessarily setting the world alight but then been part of a successful promotion with Forest.

Forest reporters are saying we're not playing the game regarding Lowe,we don't want him so we should sell him to them on the cheap.Fxxk em.

The lowest fee we paid in our first summer back in the Premier League was £3.5m for Ben Osborn. Above that we paid £4.5m for Luke Freeman, £5m for Callum Robinson, £6m for Lys Mousset then silly money for Oli McBurnie. In that context, Max Lowe should cost Forest around £5m up front with variables taking the overall deal towards £10m depending on his and their success.

Surely they could say the same about Spence? But Boro aren't gonna sell him cheap either.

Max Lowe was crap in the few games he played for us and was nowhere near Premier League level, we aren't going to miss him if he goes and we've got enough options at LB/LWB as it is.

For someone who's 25, I don't think he's played that much football at a decent level so we should squeeze as much as possible out of Forest now that we know that they have some money to spend.

A lot of people have seen how Robinson has improved under the current coaching team. Maybe Lowe can too. Age is on his side. We should be looking to develop the squad quality by improving our current players as well as through trading in new players...

Didn't he go out on loan under slavs tenure?

If so we might have a player on our hands after a pre season with hecky and the gang..

(probably was sent out on loan to free wages up for that keeper and the clogger slav wanted)

We were made to pay over the odds for English players from the Championship.

FFS why should we let Forest off the hook and give them a cheap bargain.

£5 mill minimum or they can fuck off
Quite simple isn't it? If they think he's capable of contributing to them in the Premier League then you

Why would we sell him on the basis he didn't set the world alight in 21/22 in a season that plenty of those that did well this season were also crap?

His most recent season, according to the below which at least is objective has Lowe as their second most consistent player (who's played more than one game) after only Keenan Davis; higher than Spence over the season:

If he's made such a good impression we should value him on that.

Billy had to be sold twice and came back to be our brilliant for us perhaps Lowe may come back to us in fine form

Stevens is the fly in the ointment here.

He'll be on a very good wage. His career trajectory is at best plateau, at worst sharply declining. He isn't finished yet to be fair to him, though he'll be worth less to us year on year if the last 2 years are anything to go by.

Nobody is coming in to offer 3m, 5m or whatever for him and most of the teams that would take him on ability would probably baulk at his current wages, even though I understand they are due to drop once more next season.

In all likelihood he stays and either leaves at the end of 22/23 or has a surprising year and manages to eek out a further season.

Due to circumstances and the fact Forest have showcased Lowe's ability and retain an interest, there is only one outcome...

Lowe gets sold, Norrington-Davies remains, Enda stays to the point Boyes becomes a better first team squad option.

Exactly this. I’d also be basing Lowe’s transfer fee off of the Callum Robinson transfer as at Preston he had a similar season to Lowe’s at Forest this season, and played very well for half a season (remember everyone saying CR’s record wouldve been one of the best having played a full season)

He was also a similar age and english too. So £6-£8m wouldn’t be unreasonable. BUT I’d push for £10m as Forest already see Lowe as a key player (I’ve talked to my forest mates and they all say he was probably their best player for a long spell)

£3m-£5m WOULD be completely unreasonable, come on Blades we had the piss taken out of us going up to the PL

Can’t believe you’d even consider letting Lowe go for less than £6m based off one average season with us… and to a cash rich PL club too!!!

And people say our board don’t reach high enough…

Some slightly odd questions and opinions in this thread overall.

The bottom line is we can keep him or extract the highest possible sale value. I've no idea why we'd sell him to the first bid, when premier league teams are never allowed players cheaply! As we know first hand.

How much do good young English defenders usually fetch in the transfer market on average ? He shows he fits their system and their squad so it’s a waiting game £1.5-2 million is an insult but tbf you can’t place them with that cheeky bid Id expect them to come back with a higher bid probably a structured one based on Forest staying up and sell on clause.

Looked like he'd never played a game in his life tonight. Fuck me, he was gash. He wasn't the only one but definitely the gashest.
Not only did he give the ball away every time, he was also badly at fault for the goal.
He was in the best position to see their goalscorer coming through, but didn't see him and got sucked over.
As performances go that was about as bad as it gets

Now you know

Always wary judging a sub performance but a few of us said the same tonight. Is he pissed off at not being allowed to move on?
