Looking back at the highlights he had an easy ride. Playing LCB (eh?) he wasn't involved much but if he played LB/LWB I reckon he would've struggled. Least he got booed

I've rarely booed any ex United player, it would need to be something major for me to do it.

Lowe was decent/ average OK in the Championship but really poor in the Premier league.
My issue with him is that he's the total opposite of Baldock, Lowe played like it's just a job.
He does what's needed, tries to stay away from trouble or controversy, as long as he collects his wages he's fine.
What didn't help with Lowe was he always had poor body language, as though he wasn't giving 100% and wasn't that bothered after a defeat.

However he's never disrespected the club or the fans, seems a decent enough bloke, so I didn't boo him.

Also the poll is a bit daft. Where are the basic options for YES and NO?
The options "maybe" and "not sure" are virtually the same thing. They both cover yes and no, at the same time.

I thought he got off really lightly with his reception, which was a telling measure about how little Blades' fans have a fuck about him. Just a bang average, injury prone player.

Similar to Marvin Johnson - rather than being bothered by them it's more amusement that this is the level of shite they're dealing in these days.

I had a lovely beery afternioon with am old school mate who is an S6 ST holder and went today.

Before too much ale had been consumed, we got onto Mav Lowe, who is obviously winning them round at the Stadium of Rust. It would seem that the concept of marking your man, which seemed so alien to him at BDTBL, has actually found him. Unbelivably, my normally very sensible mate, thinks he is a key part of their revival and really looks a proper player.

He also reckons that Marvin 'meh' Johnson, is the besr crosser of a ball at S6. I know it was 5 years ago, but he really lopked like he didn't give a shit when we had him.

Mate, the fact that Bannan is still their main man, Johnson is their best crosser and lowe is highly related tells you all you need to know about their ambition and quality
