The Jordan Stewart of this generation. Backing a snortbeast relegation if he signs at s6

The footballing equivalent of own label vanilla ice cream or ready salted crisps.

He’s not ready salted. They’re the underrated bedrock of the entire crisp world.

Lowe is a bag of Salt n’ Shake without the little blue envelope. The blandest footballer I’ve ever seen. Neither good nor awful at every single aspect of being a left back.

Fair assessment

Hell probably be Wednesdays best player in fairness to Lowe! RND is much better but as we all know it's his fitness that's the issue.

Well they didn't get relegated with Marvin Johnson as their first choice LWB, so Max Lowe will be like when we upgraded Donaldson to McGoldrick

Take your point, but I feel if he was fit every week hes the equal of the lad Antonee Robinson at Fulham
40 games in 3 seasons with us, it was the right call to let him go
I feel if Rhian Brewster was fit every week he'd be our all time top Premier League goalscorer by now, but at some point you have to factor in reality.

porktalk like the idea of max lowe but their very worried about his injury record as another poster pointed out they think marvin johnson is a good player so they will be ecstatic if lowe joins absolute idiots utb ftp ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Lowe did have one half decent game, towards the end of the season. Can't remember which one it was, home game, and I started the game by saying to Mrs G, "can't believe we are starting Max Lowe". Towards the end of the game, I turned to her and said "Max Lowe has not been too bad, really", and she said something like, "it's not often you can say that". The fact that I had never said anything really positive about him before is the reason I remember it so clearly.

A common problem with many Sheffield United fans

I was about to write that it's a shame as i think there's a player in there somewhere in future...

But then realised he's actually 27 years old... think he's got a case of the Lingz virus

Because hes never been fit for any sustained period
I scouted both in a previous life at Wigan Athletic and Derby County and there wasnt anything between them
Must admit Robinsons success has surprised me, still the odd Wigan mistake still in his game
Maybe its why I no longer scout 😀
That's 100% why you no longer scout...

He was a weak link in our back 5 when we got promoted, but last season I thought we were a better team in the very limited appearances he made. Overall, it was obviously the right decision to get rid.

If he stays fit, he's 'OK'. The shocker he had at Millwall in the promotion year sticks in the memory.

Putting it politely, Lowe is soft as shit. I never thought he had the mentality. He had some abysmal appearances. His very best (rare) performances were nothing above average.

Ridiculous signing for anyone considering his injury record, let alone his on the pitch standards.

Don’t despair
Come October there’ll likely be the Head scout vacancy at the Chansiro
Interview tip:- don’t mention your opinion on Lowe ( or Robinson)

I remember his shocker at Stamford Bridge in his first season. But he was even worse at Watford under Slav. He admitted a few months later that he had his head up his arse at the time.

He'll be a good, solid signing for them as long as they aren't expecting him to defend properly, add any quality to their attacking play, or stay fit for more than two weeks at a time. I'd also advise them to keep him away from any sprinkler systems.

Nice, cheap name for the lunatics to add to the back of their shirts though.

He does seem to be having a career of convenience so far. Derby > Sheffield > Nottingham> Sheffield.

My one stand out moment of Max Lowe was the Chesterfield pre-season match last summer.

Lowe kept standing still on the wing waving his arms at a centre back who had the ball, trying to get them to pass to him. They didn't, because there was a Chesterfield player between Lowe and the defender with the ball. After the defender didn't pass to him Lowe was getting mad at him. He did this throughout the match.

My ten year old son said to me "Dad, why doesn't Max Lowe move into space where he can be passed to?"

As someone above said, positional ability of a crisp packet in the wind and no footballing brain. Another poor Wilder signing in the bigger picture.

A bang average Championship player who I'll have long forgotten about in 3-4 years time.

Add to my list with Paul Thirlwell, Danny Cadamateri, Ashley Ward, Paul Shaw et all of "Oh yeah, I'd almost forgotten that they played for us."

Hes a 3/4 out of 10 most games. Not abysmal just plain old beige/basic in the prem. He was a world beater at Forrest apparently so if they can get that version of Lowe then a good signing for them. At Champ level not a bad signing, especially for a free.
