Bearing in kind the transfer of assets is covered by a loan ,the 132 million is adjusted for losses from covid and as far as I know we aren't spending 120 miliion on our academy and training facilities

Don't forget the Prince isn't minted, has had to buy the club + assets including the ground. We're building a new training ground. Having to increase wages at a rate far bigger than our rivals % wise which will eat into budgets too. Covid will have taken a chunk of our budget as well that other clubs can just write off who have rich owners, us/Burnlet etc... can not

The prince took out a fifty million loan ( that the club is paying back ) to cover that

If we are building a new training ground and that's why we can't afford championship players then great ,tell me more

Covid hasn't changed fuck all for anyone else

Freeman wanted games, wilder didn't want to play him.

Freeman is the only one benefiting from this at the moment as we have no one to fill his squad position.

Before you say "we dont play with no.10" why buy him in the first place then? The plan from the get go was play a flat 3. And everytime he's been called upon he's been one of the best players on then pitch.

Like I said, unless we get Cash as part of this its bad business. If he doesn't want Freeman then sell him. If money is the issue, loaning someone out is not the answer to raising money.

Unfortunately only us could find a prince who is skint but i kinda agree i'm not sure why our budget is so low, we can't really say wage budget is high as we are tight on what we pay

Stop talking shite. The main reason everyone is getting excited about Cash is because it’s been apparent all off season so far that he’s one of CWAK’s top targets. People aren’t annoyed because they think they know better, they’re annoyed because it looks like we’re missing out on a top target.

No sign of this being part of a the deal for Cash. I am fully prepared to eat my words of we bring in 2 midfielders and a couple of wingback in the next couple of days, but at the moment this is bad business both on and off the field. But if you want to continue with the head in the sand approach then more power to you brother.

Based in the fact he’s taken us from bottom of league one to 9th in the prem in 4 seasons.

I’m annoyed because every time I watched Forest he was quality. Every Forest fan thinks he’s quality and I think he would have taken Baldock’s place.

You wanted reasons, there they are. As said, loads of clubs will just write off the loss from covid, we can't do that. We'll still end up spending best part of 30 million I would imagine, which would make it somewhere around 100 million since promotion just in transfer fees.

Sorry, you’re right, I should’ve said most people. But regardless I’d say for most people that CWAK’s clear interest in him was a solid reason too. Being annoyed at him going elsewhere isn’t to say we know more than them.

You've said it yourself. Wait to see who comes in. Why have we got to sign them the next few days the way?

Freeman was not the best player on the pitch when he played. He did well v Palace and ok in the 2nd half/ET at Reading...a lower league team. He had a lot more poor-ineffectual games when he was used. If he was so good why were only Champ teams in for him?

Sometimes players become better players when they are not playing. This is a classic example.

Not a cat in hells chance. £6m + £4m add ons makes sense for back up. Our priorities are up front, not replacing one of our best performers.
 
Wilder will have placed his value on him and once that has been exceed he moved onto another target
I assume we played our cards and they were not good enough and we subsequently lost out
Move on it ain’t rocket science
Baldock will do a decent job he gets better and better we bring in a young back up and spend the money saved on the cash deal On other areas.
Why is it a loan
Well I Hazard a guess that they are not allowed to sign him on a permanent for fear of exceeding Ffp we therefore agreed that they defer the purchase for 12 months in order for the deal to go through whilst we also receive a loan fee and they pay his wages.
This will Not effect our ability to sign players in this window as we will not be required to pay for all Of them up front.
