Freeman a makeweight for t'old Cash? or has he gone to Aston Fulla?

Thought this was a really interesting graphic directly comparing Baldock and Cash. Obviously take into consideration 2 different leagues but gives us an insight on what sort of player he is, seems a lot more rounded on the graph in the middle than Baldock in my opinion.

The interesting part for me is that Matty Cash trust in his ability to beat a man with the ball at his feet (dribbled past) whereas Baldock will look to cross the ball more.

Defensively not much between them, although of course the levels are different.

Having quite a few Forest supporting mates I have watched them a decent number of times this season and he's always stood out for me as looking a cut above the rest. I really hoped we would be in for him and I think whoever does end up getting him will be getting a great player. But as a wing back, in our system, with that extra license to attack I really think he'd thrive.

forget how fatter boldock looks on that graph he's still number 1 choice imo

It all depends on what the manager asks regarding tactics you can’t compare the 2, perhaps if you were to compare with the season before when we gained promotion .

I personally see someone wilder has seen for the future of this system with cash so hope we get him -would fit like a glove

Fuck off Villa you set of shithouses.

Every year we have a team that does this, no idea why Villa are pissing me off the most because as of right now they haven't nicked any of our targets.
I'm just sick of hearing about them.

It feels a bit ridiculous that we seemingly haven’t been able to use Luke Freeman as leverage in any way.

It’s possible that while Freeman is open to a loan, he doesn’t much fancy a permanent move there. Which would be understandable.

I wonder / hope that we've maybe agreed to loan them Luke Freeman for a season. If they like him at the end of it (or can afford to finance a permanent deal given the uncertainty of match day revenue) then they have an option on him at approx £3/4m.

If they don't, we pay a second installment for Matty Cash next season and Luke Freeman returns to us.

Pure speculation, but it does seem odd that we're not using him in any way.

I don’t know, could you not agree a deal which has Luke Freeman going on loan as a condition? Ie. A permanent move doesn’t have to be the only answer.

Yes possibly. Though this does of course require Cash to want to move to us. If he wants to move to Villa, insisting us getting Cash is a requirement of Freeman joining them is slightly pointless.

You and me both fed up of Villa and Fulham hope they both get relegated.
At least Fulham have the London pull.
The same pull Palace had with Eze, but BIRMINGHAM!? I'd pay to never have to go there again.
Manager, players, fans, there's litterally nothing about them that would make me want to go there if was a player.

Not even more money?

Yes and if you follow that train of thought then Freeman going to Cash in a seemingly unrelated deal doesn’t say much for our prospects of getting him. We’ll see I suppose.

You could always live in Wolverhampton or Coventry and commute?

Villa may be more attractive to Cash as I'd think hes guaranteed a first 11 place there. Its Baldocks shirt to lose if he comes here, plus its.not.difficuly.to imagine there will be more money on offer at Villa.

Thimk hed be a great addition but I get the feeling we may have moved on.

Bigger club historically, wages, easier to get in the team.

They have more money and a great ambition to become a top 10 established team. They will spend accordingly to reach their aim it seems.

You can have 'easier to get in the team' (although that's a crap way to pick a club if you believe in yourself and your abilities) but 'historically a bigger club'.
Come on!! Thats a Wednesday or a Leeds thought process. Cash wasn't alive when Villa were a good side.

A 20year old wouldn't pick Forrest over Burnley for example.

Villa have been shite for about 10 years, were shite last season, have a shite manager and rely on one player who hasn't said he's not leaving.

Big ground isn't so big a draw either when there's nobody in it.
