Cash would probably be better going forward but wouldn't be as good defensively, which is a bold move to make IMO.

I may be wrong but if the intrest in Cash at those types of prices are genuine then I reckon CW see's him taking Lunny's place.

Cash sounds sufficiently versatile to do both roles if needed

Agree. And given the number of goals allowed the last 9 matches it seems clear that the squad tired meaning we need reinforcements for Baldock and Stevens as well as CB IMHO
 
Seem west ham have pauses their interest (whatever that means in Cash).
They sounded the front runners and the Forest fans seem resigned to losing him, maybe this is our in.

I don't think we'll play our 3-5-2 all season, we need to evolve.
Cash can play RB, RM and even on the left side.

If we ever go to 4-4-2 we can play him and Baldock together. If we go 4-3-3 he could be one of the wingers supporting the CF

That's definitely him. Bit disappointed he's still wearing his Forest gear though.
 
If Forest were hoping for a bidding war it doesn't seem to have materialised, strengthens our hand somewhat with the negotiations.

Same as with Ramsdale.

I think both of our opening offers were reasonable and we should just sit on them. I'm not sure if either club can afford to turn down that sort of money if nothing better comes along.

Hardly surprising that though. Not exactly going to tell the local media he’s desperate to leave and trying to engineer a transfer.

Meh... wouldn't read much into that. I interpreted it more as, he isn't going to hand in a transfer request, he's a good egg and is looking forward to pre-season.

All of the right noises, but if someone comes in and offers to double / triple your wages and give you a shot in the Premier League at 22 y old, no need to relocate etc..
 

If he intends to leave, why speak to the press when you are not at training. It would be easy to avoid them.
