The minutes will be out within the week but this is to answer a few specific queries:
Re the shirts, I've either put weight on since last year or the sizes are smaller than the previous one. That's not a complaint, they just might want to mention that on the size guide (eg if you were medium in the old shirt try large in the new one)
Yep... sizes are smaller. They are expecting more XL and XXL shirts in stock.
And if I occasionally upgrade my Kop season ticket to the Westfield Corner for some matches, they won't lump on these extra prices if done on match day?
Emma Wylie sent a document through to JG answering all ticketing queries. We're just waiting for this to be emailed through.
This greatest ever player vote. Can they not open it to online? Us exiles won't get a chance to vote. They could tie it to customer numbers to stop it being compromised by the pork
A bit late for this one (as the vote finishes tomorrow) - but they've said they'll bear it in mind for future votes.
I've had a few via email which I'll add here to remind me:
1) A chap asking about changing facilities on the Kop if he decided to take his infant son to a match this season.
2) The volume of the speakers in the South Stand is deafening on certain blocks
There are changing facilities in the John Street disabled toilets apparently... he would have to upgrade his seat to sit in there.
PA system - They're aware of the problem. Gary Sinclair was working with the sound technicians yesterday to try and deal with the issue. Ideally the whole PA system would be upgraded as it's getting on a bit, but it's all money. Advised to see what it's like tomorrow and provide more feedback if it's still not right.
Can you ask why they insist on having that kiosk open with the guy sat twiddling his thimbs instead of serving people pints at half time on the kop. If they know how many vouchers have been sold they know that nobody else is coming to the voucher till so why cant they start serving people with cash?
The message is basically: use the voucher scheme then.
Who cocked up with the away kit, resulting in the quickly cobbled together Father Ted outfits? A decision which means there are now TWO different designs of black shorts. Bonkers, rip-off accusation worthy stuff.
The players were consulted and wanted (transparent!) white shorts with the home kit... these are white with a red stripe. The away kit are black with a white stripe. The black with red are only a change kit for the white home shorts when there is a clash.
I've been wanting a long sleeve United shirt for years and I thought with it now being a big company that may be more likely. I'd appreciate if that could be mentioned.
Apparently you're not fashionable any more
Since players have started wearing compression garments, they no longer wear long sleeved shirts, which means that people generally don't want to purchase them. The minimum order of these from the supplier is restrictive and the last time the club ordered long sleeved ones, they only sold about 20% of them.
