I realise that on-the-pitch matters will be taking precedence what with today's news but there's an SLO meeting being scheduled before the season starts and as ever, we're happy to take anything forward or press for any responses you feel weren't properly addressed regarding off-the-field matters.

We'll be asking for updates on some of the points raised by our supporter survey - particularly to do with the ticket office (booking fees, phone charges etc.)

We'd like to pass on some feedback about the shirts - good or bad, let us know.

We'll ask for an update on the 125 celebrations and if anything else is planned.

And we'll ask if the Club are planning to increase awareness of the SLO role considering most of our survey respondents, who are internet-savvy obviously, didn't even realise we had one.

Anything else?

Re the shirts, I've either put weight on since last year or the sizes are smaller than the previous one. That's not a complaint, they just might want to mention that on the size guide (eg if you were medium in the old shirt try large in the new one)

Agreed. I got mine at the weekend and, well, its given me a reason to get back on the diet.

Serious question: would the club sell a small number of the shirts at a premium without the front and back sponsors?

Obviously I understand the commercial dilemma but all sponsors spoil the overall look of the shirt. Just wondering.

And if I occasionally upgrade my Kop season ticket to the Westfield Corner for some matches, they won't lump on these extra prices if done on match day?

I used to move from my season ticket seat on the Kop to the Corner and was always charged the difference, this was about 3 years ago.

But the price for tickets bought on matchday has increased - so will there be an extra difference to pay if he does it on the day, I think was what he was meaning :)

Yep that's what they charged me the difference between match ticket prices, so it varied depending on category.

That's right Linz. The added point is I don't live in Sheffield so can't pop into the Lane to upgrade. And actually I'd be loathe to book it online (I don't think you can do that anyway) and a £1 booking fee would not be proportional.

Sorry I didn't realise that we had gone down the route of prices on match days being more expensive, but isn't the difference between the Kop and the Corner £2 or £1.50 whether bought in advance or done on the day? Should only be that difference you pay.

I guess that's the clarification we need. Whichever tickets you compare it should be the lowest difference that applies for a season ticket holder.

My feelings on the shirts are known. The back sponsor makes us look like a cheap, tinpot club (yes, I know we had it last season too but I didn't like either of last seasons shirts so wouldn't have bought them anyway). How long before we have a 3rd sponsor on the shirt? Then a 4th sponsor?

Before too long, our kit will resemble this;

As has already been mentioned, I'd be prepared to pay extra if it meant not having the back sponsor on the shirt (the front sponsor doesn't bother me as shirts have been like that for about 30 years).

This greatest ever player vote. Can they not open it to online? Us exiles won't get a chance to vote. They could tie it to customer numbers to stop it being compromised by the pork

I've had a few via email which I'll add here to remind me:

1) A chap asking about changing facilities on the Kop if he decided to take his infant son to a match this season.

2) The volume of the speakers in the South Stand is deafening on certain blocks

If they drown out the sound of a bloke in B block rattling on about 70's programme line-ups and what constitutes the colour pink whilst referring to himself in the third person, crank it up to 11 say I.......

I would guess the response would be that he would be advised to go to another stand - are there baby-changing facilities anywhere and are they just in the ladies' toilets?

Can you ask why they insist on having that kiosk open with the guy sat twiddling his thimbs instead of serving people pints at half time on the kop. If they know how many vouchers have been sold they know that nobody else is coming to the voucher till so why cant they start serving people with cash?

Yep :)

I've went in every single toilet in the ground when I did the safety certificate plans and can't remember seeing any. Can't say I even noted them in the ladies!?

Nah... there aren't any in my usual toilets (nor "lady bins" which are limited to two per stand!)

I sit in the John Street stand, back row close to the area where padded seats are sectioned off. Is it possible to have an opening at both sides of that section, which would then allow fans to move through it to get to exits with smaller queues? They have a steward at the entrance to the John Street bars, so there shouldn't be any problems with unauthorised access to the hospitality areas.

Who cocked up with the away kit, resulting in the quickly cobbled together Father Ted outfits? A decision which means there are now TWO different designs of black shorts. Bonkers, rip-off accusation worthy stuff.

Without pestering the life out of Swiss Tony aka John Holland Sales, and I'm sure some sort of confidentiality agreement prevents them saying anyway, but his original comments about the away kit are now making them look like prats, when in reality someone somewhere pulled the rug from under them.

You do know we also have white shorts don't you?

I've been wanting a long sleeve United shirt for years and I thought with it now being a big company that may be more likely. I'd appreciate if that could be mentioned.

That is probably because in the Westfield Upper Corner there is no volume so the South Stand gets it twice as loud!
