I would be happy with that. Still got a few years left and always seemed a decent keeper. Alot better than Simmo.

Isn't he also, like Simmo, quite likely to make the odd disastrous error? Seem to remember a fair number in the Prem with Hull. If it's a case of ultimately reducing the wage bill then fair enough - he should be reasonable for League 1.

Duke is though on that very short list of young players to leave us and achieve something at a higher level.

Hendo's departure gives us real hope. It seems there are still clubs around who are financially mismanaged more than us! Let's send them Ched and the rests CV quickly.

i hope we sign the lad, better option than simmo imho - but part of the simmo issue lies with who is infront of him, i know that sounds very cliche as most keepers with good defence would be better than with a shite one, but some keepers also need it for confidence, when we first signed simmo on loan we had the same back 4/5 and that helps keepers as they know what that is player may or may not do in certain situations.

put good luck to duke when he signs on the dot, keep it up wilson and get some more players in after that.
