The prices for them are ridiculous, and I have always opposed high prices for fans for many reasons.
Many fans, especially now in the Premiership, are middle-aged higher income earners. Many kids can't afford to go and I do wonder where the next generation of fans are going to be from for some clubs.
I have had a season ticket at BDTBL for over 30 years now, I started attending when I was 5, but when it wasn't until I was about 12 and started going with a group of mates paying a couple of quid that I got seriously in to it, and still go with most of them, dragging our kids along now as well.
Some Premiership teams can maybe justify some of the prices on caliber of players and having full stadiums, but Wednesday have neither.
What they do have though is a new owner who might have been sold the belief that they are a massive club with a massive and loyal fan base, so maybe he's looked at the prices and decided they should be higher if they are such a massive club.
Perhaps you do reap what you sow after all.
United have it right in my opinion. Could be cheaper maybe, but have a good attendance for a 3rd tier club and can still get near sellouts for big cup games.
