The people who are in control of the media side of things at the Lane these days really do produce some good stuff.

The branding, YouTube channel and Twitter page are all top notch.

Have the club hired in a company to do this stuff?

We've come a long long way from this fucking abomination.

It's a marked improvement. But, I presume it's down to more budget as we're now in the league above.

Think we're clever with our social media content now, Man City started the trend, but we've added our own little slant I suppose. Also like the history episodes that sometimes get aired and off-key videos of touring the coach.

Fuck me, mental how that was actually a thing. And I’m just on about the fact Febian Brandy and Tony McMahon were on the payroll. That ‘marketing’ was also hilariously bad.

“Abomination” is about the best description I’ve heard of McMahon’s footballing abilities.

It’s been up there with the “big” clubs for a while. In 2014 I was working at a large IT/Marketing company who were bidding to be Chelsea’s social media partner. This was a hugely involved global effort that was seeking to turn the millions of eyeballs into paying customers.

and the latest 'Behind the Blades'

Much prefer this type that aren’t backed by the sort of shite music you see on a youtubers clip reel – you get a nice actual feel of the club, from the joke-cracking as the team-sheets are waiting to be handed in, to the typical yells at a player that’s missed a chance.

The best piece we’ve done in the last week from a social media point of view was just the very simple clip of the 2nd goal on Tuesday that captured the relief-roar perfectly.
