Billy may be back on Tuesday. Some good news, at least.

What I can’t get my head round. Against Middlesbrough we looked excellent, energy, work level, togetherness. There was no sign of tiredness. So why is everyone saying we are a tired team. If we can do it against Middlesbrough, and I know people will point at the return of CW and the players had something to prove. We had injuries when we played them, and we have just come off a two week break, again I know some players where away on International duty, but since then why is it all gone backwards. If you can perform well in one game why not the rest.
You answered your own question. Every player on that pitch gave blood that day to make a point. The same way teams raise themselves for big games.
I understand that, yesterday we had the 1st of 8 games to secure a play off place, so does that count as a big game, knowing 3 points, would go along way to securing that play off place. Surely you should be giving blood in every game.
There are very few teams, if any, in the whole world whose players or up for it every game? The champion-winning Liverpool and Man City teams, maybe, but aside from that? Even in our promotion season we had off days.
This kind of performance after an international break is not uncommon. Add in you have Baldock, Davies and Fleck not match fit (and Davies out of position), MGW ill and been travelling. Berge, RND and Egan been on international duty. Jebbison has little experience playing with these players and upfront alone. They've not all trained together for 10 days until Thursday.
Not really proving a point though is it? Raising your levels for one game? Sort of proves the opposite and that they were right to be called out in the first place? You answered your own question. Because the bloke talks crap he didn’t even watch the same game neither side made chances according to him ffs we could have been swept away in the second halfWhat I can’t get my head round. So all our away performances (which even when we did scrape a win or a draw from winning positions have been at this level) are down to international breaks nowThere are very few teams, if any, in the whole world whose players or up for it every game? My point is if that is all they can muster then it’s really not proving any sort of point… its actually proving the opposite … that over a season we aren’t as good as we could be so in the end they might have beat Wilder once but over the duration of a season he and his team are in the box seatSo sack all the managers in the world as their players don't raise their game every?
They played out of their skin and thrashed the then form team in the league because their manager used to manage us. But putting that level off effort in takes a toll on players having to play 3 games per week.

Totally agree Stoke we’re all over our midfield and created loads of chances , Sawyers came on and made an impact.Because the bloke talks crap he didn’t even watch the same game neither side made chances according to him ffs we could have been swept away in the second half
