Well what a rapturous reception our lads will get tonight, as we quickly get back in action for the TOP SIX clash at home to Wolves. And somehow with CW in charge, you just don't expect anything but another top draw performance of effort and/or quality. Sure not all results will go our way this season, and this is as tough a test as we have faced at home this season, but yet there doesn't seem any reason to fear anybody. So bring on what should be a cracking game, great crowd and Wolves having the chance to go top, while we 'could' go second!!!!

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

A 'forced' same line up?

Or are some of the walking wounded a bit closer?

Stearman seemingly close?

But is that enough to dislodge Wright?

So really difficult game to predict but our record of only one defeat in our last 18 games played on a Wednesday - winning 15 of them, is a stat that that I hope will improve further tonight. :) Might see some tired legs at some point late on, but although the effort was first class at the rust bucket, we didn't actually have to run our backsides off once it went 4-2. Anyway, heart says 2-1 but head says 1-1.

16 games since our last draw so it's going to happen at some stage. Some people will say "i'd take a draw" but i'm always disappointed when we don't win our home games. A draw at wolves is good but we need to beat the top teams at home if we want to achieve our goal. However after the effort shown just 3 days ago i'll take a point tonight........1-1.

I can't see him not putting the same team out after Sunday. It might be different at Florist after 3 tough games in 6 days, but at the Lane he'll want to ride the wave

Oooooow I love a good ol' double negative.

Reading Roy's pre match view it seems most of their fans would accept a point now if offered to them. There's potential for a lot of goals with both sides playing attacking football.' Conventional ' wisdom ( not sure who's) tells us these Johnny foreigners dont like playing under lights away from home as it starts to get colder so let's hope those wise 'conventional ' people know what they are talking about....oh and it is cold up in Sheffield isn't it ?

Looks like it's going to be quite a mild evening. The atmosphere I hope for tonight might just be that bit different to anything they've experienced yet in England, hopefully gets them nervous.

Wolves are a side full of quality players though so this could go either way for me. I'd be happy with a point which would tee is up for Forest who are out of form !

Can we just fast forward through the afternoons work, the School Run, dropping the kids at Guides, cooking dinner and tea, walking the dog, kicking the dog, being kicked by the wife and get to the main event please? This is all starting to feel like last season when games couldn't come quickly enough so we could feel the elation all over again.

As you were...

Time to forget Sunday and focus on this evening.

We mustn't throw away all the good work.

Time to forget Sunday and focus on this evening.

With great respect to a fellow Blade, that is bollocks.

I intend to focus on Sunday's game all day today and god knows how many more times I will play those clips.

CW/AK are professionals and will do their jobs to ensure the players are right for tonight. We fans do not have to 'prepare' for Wolves, we can just carry on laughing at that shower from S6.

My guess is that Lundstram and Lafferty will come in for Stevens and Wright. With Fleck and Coutts both a yellow away from a ban Lundstram needs to get some minutes. CVC in the middle of the back three to combat their pace and power up top. Maybe Moore in for Blackman as he's more vocal and we'd be missing Wrights organization of the back three.

I'll be delighted with a draw. Because I would've been delighted with 4 points from these 2 games - especially if the 3 came on Sunday.

Wolves are a good side and have had an extra day to prepare. It will be good just to get this one out of the way without losing, and then move onto Forest on Saturday.

Team wise, I'd go with the same side. If anything Lafferty in for Stevens. Maybe Lundstram will come in for Wright.

Fancy Brooks to get his first goal in a 2-2 draw.

Atmosphere wise, it should just be a party and I think the players will be cheered off even if we lose.

Tonight's game will give us a better idea of how good we actually are.....here's hoping we continue the great start...

An interesting conundrum for CW with the team.

Do we stay at 3-5-2 (as on Sunday) or move to our more conventional 3-4-1-2?

We are at home and we should always let the opposition worry about us - so back to 3-4-1-2.

CCV back on the bench - Bash to usual with Jake in the middle.

Duffy to start in the no 10 position and whether or not Donaldson or Billy are fit, then leave Clarke and Brooks up top.

Surely CW can't drop Brooksy.............for me no, because the greater majority on here have complained for months/years about lack of pace. Duffy and Clarke are no slouches either, so we have the pace up top.

No place for sentiment.

A few week ago I'd have said I'd take a draw, but with how we're playing at minute and the confidence being so high, I think we'll beat them.

Just shows how far we've come

Cannot see Moore coming in while Blackman is still performing, Moore has only just got back remember. Can't just expect to walk back into the team.

We're a good side and have nothing to fear from anyone in this league. In the games we've had up to now we have been the best side with one exception. Onwards and upwards!!!

Compare this team to the United teams that played in the Championship in previous years and I think myself man for man it is better than any we've had. Coutts Fleck and Duffy best midfield three we've had for donkeys years. Nothing to fear!!!

Middlesbrough or Cardiff?

I didn't actually think we were the better side in either of those, although we were robbed of a legitimate equaliser at Boro.

The only change I might consider if I were CW is possibly resting one of either Fleck or Coutts as if both of them pick up bookings both would be missing for Forest and I think he would like to avoid that.

Other wise why change what ain't broke?

Only one I can think of in terms of ability might be the Kendall/Spackman side.

As important as the score I am really looking forward to how we perform against a team that has cost so much, ofcourse I want the win but if we perform like we did against Norwich and lose by the odd goal it will fill me with confidence for the future, really looking forward to it, Christ is it only 18 months ago I had to drag myself down to watch us under adkins, how quickly fortunes can change, go and ask the scrubbers from the outskirts

imagine the heads exploding in s6 tonight if they get beat and we fill one of the automatic spots after 10 games , recognised as the first real pointer to the season
