That 2nd half we were excellent, sliced them apart ruthlessly at times. The football for the 3rd and 4th goals was a joy to watch – Lavery's off the back of a move that I think involved Sharp, Freeman and Carruthers, while it was a great ball from Lavery for Freeman's.

Southend were by no means poor –this was quite the statement.
 
It's only the second season that Southend have been in this division since we came down and none of the three previous games went well, with a 2-2 home draw being the best we had done. We were playing well, but this result is huge, moving us to six straight wins and giving us a bit of a cushion at the top of the table.

My daughter set up a last second winner for United against Wednesday this morning as well, so it has been a good day!

had it on radio, they were saying he looked fine, didn't limp off or anything, might have just felt something and come off as a precaution to make sure hes not out injured for even longer, probably be fit for the next game so not much to worry about

Also bolton drew with palace, so another game for bolton, maybe gives us a slight advantage.

Sky sports praising the Blades and CW in particular.

Fantastic result, been following by phone app as it was my nephews 14th birthday do so just got in to see Phil Thompson's report on Sky, he made us sound like Real Madrid.

No Channel 5 football show tonight, typical...

Yeah, Pete is doing a terrific job in developing the girls, most of whom had never played before this season and are playing an age level up.

I sold all my Be Bop Deluxe LPs at a car boot sale some time ago. Little did I know that vinyl would make a come back! Listen to most music nowadays on Spotify but the 'Air Age Anthology' CD is good for the car.
