Defensively I have no worries. Done and Lavery will defend well from the front and O'Shea will hardly make us weaker in that department. The back 3 is the same and Coutts and Fleck are together in midfield.

I can see it being 0-0 into the second half, then we'll hopefully push on and win.

I think these changes are as tactical as much as anything. Rovers are strong at home, they seem hardworking and decent physically and we've put out a side with good mobility. Their pitch is usually quite difficult too, so maybe we're starting two runners up front to stretch them and hopefully give us the space we want to play in.

We'll be fine, Jake Wright is still playing! The worst bit of team news is Hanson ou with a groin strain! Even at this stage, Hanson is crucial. Thankfully he is supposed to be back for Scunthorpe.

I'm not so sure though that making so many changes is going to work. As others have said its a big gamble and it may also have given a lift/extra motivation for Bristol. A draw would still be decent to be honest, although we'd all like a win going into Saturday's big game. This will see just how strong our squad is, that's for sure!

Not to worried...Plenty of pace and threat in behind from the front 2,and if it goes tits up we've got a really strong bench to change it up.

Not sure about tonight looking at that team. So many changes from a winning team. Obviously got 2 big games coming up after Rovers. Very risky tonight.

I think that side will run Bristol Rovers ragged, I honestly think that side is capable of beating these by two or three goals, they won't know what's hit em!

UTB!

It's all about Satdy, squad spirit and energy for tonight. Wilder is showing fringe players huge respect.

Rovers have had to make changes too.

Their regular right back is out and it looks like a CB is starting at RB.

Their striker Luke James started on Saturday and isn't in the squad tonight.

On paper we're still much stronger than them.

who knew Im on wilder wavelength as earlier I was hoping we could rest a few players tonight, as it makes complete sense we play our main rivals on Saturday, like many other teams say about cup competitions its priories, anyone can see that saturday is the biggest game this weekend (not the season because that was oxford) & we Cant expect players like sharp duffy freeman etc to keep up that same level 3 times a week the would have a dip at somepoint & we don't want that v scunthorpe

0-0 HT. Good. That's what I wanted and expected.

Now we use our bench to win the game.

I'd like Sharp on within 10 minutes if not at half time. If we concede early then we'd regret not having Sharp on from the start of the half.

Then Carruthers or Duffy for O'Shea possibly. Maybe Carruthers on for Coutts.

Freeman possibly too, depends how Riley's doing.

Sounds like not much in the way of a threat from wide areas although i think Riley put in a decent cross late on...wouldn't mind Freeman on to give us a bit more from wide maybe.

0-0 looking at the starting line-up for is less than I was expecting yesterday, but more than I thought we'd get at 7:45. Eyes obviously still on the Bolton scoreline, but looking at the Scunthorpe result perhaps a gamble tonight that will go unpunished.

0 goals conceded since Wright's return incidentally.

Bolton leading 1-0

A draw is OK, but it's a shame Bolton are winning and it's a shame we didn't kick on and get the winner when we were on top.

Two clean sheets from these two games is impressive, and 4 points is a good return.

Beat Scunny (who are in poor form) on Saturday and we'll be 8 points above them.

We've got to be happy with 4 points and two clean sheets away to Peterborough and Bristol surely? I'd have grabbed their arms of if anybody offered me that last Saturday morning.

We can't effect what the other teams do except when we play them. UTB.

Nope went down with a couple of minutes left and was treated according to Sky feed. I wasn't there but if someone who was can enlighten us I'd be grateful

I didn't go, but he made a very good save after recovering from the injury so sounded like it wasn't serious.
