Mat Ryan- Central Coast Goalkeeper

Along with Central Coasts manager being linked with us, their keeper Mat Ryan has also been linked. He has been offered a trial by Lille in the French first division however. It could just be lazy journalism which was created because of our links with CCM, although the chairman said that Ryan has had talks with us which would suggest their is truth in the rumor. Could this also mean we are looking to replace Long??

On a tangent, I signed Mat Ryan for United on FIFA's career mode. If that's accurate (and it's a big 'if') then he's a decent keeper with a monster throw.

I think we've had Trent Sainsbury on trial before now too. Given that he's linked with FC Basel and Southampton we may have missed out on a decent player there.

haha, yeah I signed him on FIFA as well pal! I have watched him a few times in the A-league and he looks class. Would be a good signing in my opinion, although I'm not sure I'd swap Long for him
