He can obviously last beyond 70 minutes "

Funny that.

Sure Mrs Duffy is very glad he can last beyond 70 minutes. A good outcome for her, unless she suffers from vaginal dryness. Maybe we should ask Jenny Eclair for a ruling on this one.

This place really does my fucking head in at times.

Make a completely normal, reasonable point that might not reflect entirely favourably on the club, then someone like you pops up and says I do it for the attention. Get real.

Sorry pal seemed to have touched a nerve with that comment but as mentioned he isn't our player any more stop looking at it as a lone because that isn't what it is. It's a permanent move away from the club Wilder also mentioned this in his last interview. Leonard is no longer one of our players and Norwood is now one of our players. Massive upgrade for me and as it seems to be that had to be the deal in order to get Norwood then that's fine by me. Wilder knows what he is doing.

That's simply a different way to look at it.

Leonard is still on loan and that really is the bottom line on this.

The bottom line is that we got more on our bottom line for a squad player that we didn’t really want. Forget the loan part, the player is sold, it’s just a way to extend the transfer deadline. Stop over reacting to everything

He gets tired faster when we are winning, thought everyone knew this. Also Sharp will be on Oxygen tonight, saw him looking over at Wilder on 65 minutes saying what the fuck are you doing man.
What coz he's got off the coach and those beers are heavy when going up those steps arms full of bottles.

Besides, would we rather be facing a player we deem is surplus to requirements that we know everything about, or someone else that's less known that'll use the game to fight for their place in Millwall's starting XI? We've sold Leonard, not fucking Messi

He obviously didn’t today, but he has become less effective in some games at 70/75 minutes. Maybe it’s down to the rest of the team. I say that because if he has an off day, the whole team does, he is that crucial to us. A successor to Duff is so important for the team to continue to improve, which will be a very difficult task for Messrs Wilder and Knill

Funny thing about Duffy today was I thought he looked a bit off the pace the first hour. He gave the ball away more often than you expect from him and also got caught in possession a couple of times. However his class isn't in doubt and he came good the last half an hour.

His importance to us is illustrated by the fact he seems to be the most difficult player to replace with a like for like sub

But why do so many of your 'not reflect entirely favourably on the club' comments include a gratuitous dig at the club:
Leonard through ball to Gregory who scores.

How fucking perfect.

Laughable.

Agreed, it was never in doubt was it and we can say with certainty that we wouldn't have had it any easier had Leonard not played.

We also can’t say with any certainty that we would’ve won if Leonard hadn’t played.

What we can say with full certainty however is that Leonard played and we won.

Hope this helps.

Shit Blade aren't I? Not in your league.

We concede soft, undeserved goals time and time and time again. And let our loanees play against us...

Ricky, it's nothing to do with you being a shit this, that, or whatever. You're as much concerned with how we do as anyone else. Don't allow yourself to take this so personally, you and I have disagreed but it's never stopped me from recognising when you've made a decent point about the Blades. So come on son, chin up, we won today, we're meant to be happy fuckers.....or have I missed something?

Left all 3 forward players on til the end today (well nearly) and it paid off, we were great going forward most of the game. Maybe if he could change the defence 2 mins before we give 2 goals away and he’d be the best manager ever.

this is exactly the issue--left the 3 players on who look like scoring and do score....too many times they are subbed off and the game is over after 70 mins as we loose our attacking threats. if they had been subbed today we would have lost a winnable game. After the way we gave them 2 goals that is a real steal to get the win and 3 points

We should have signed him years ago. By his own admission in Danny04 book he could have. Twice. For some reason he was always a name I saw on the scoresheets when having a glance and seemed to keep an eye on. I was glad when we signed him.

When did we nearly sign him before?

Duffy is a lovely footballer. He also has a bit of grit and determination and helps press, unlike some lovely footballers who don’t think they need to help out.

On the whole we really need to appreciate this team. Champions at a stroll. Then unlucky (in my opinion) not to get a play off spot, above all expectations. Now over acheiving again and only one of two teams to have won six games in this crazy league.

I do think there is too much over analysis and over reaction sometimes. Just enjoy having a team that genuinely cares, plays on the front foot, in a pleasing manner and wins more than they lose.

Duffy is a little fat fkin wizard. Love him.

Nope. You are wrong. The loan with a guaranteed permanent deal in January has changed the market. It isn’t like a traditional loan. And it didn’t matter anyway, did it.

As I understand it, allowing him to play today added a huge amount to the fee we receive. Excellent business that, and not really much of a gamble.
