Get rid of Wilder

Agree with this, ends up becoming a slag off Wilder fest. Feel we shall have a bit more class and respect to one of our own tbh
I'd argue Wilder calling us punters shows little class and doesn't make me feel like one of his own
Assuming it works both ways.🤔

You mean the one that is scoring for the u21's. Yep, awful. Shooting and hitting the target, will never do. And the other hasn't got a permit yet, I don't think.
They're footballers who've been signed by the owners using AI, and unable to play at a professional standard. Well done, on yet again, crawling to the latest owners of our club by justifying U21 football as the answer to our problems. Wilder signed Tyrese Campbell, you're being mugged off by a deflected goal against Grimsby reserves. Nice one.

So the facts are we are second and pushing for autos. These are facts.
Then we have the maybes of if we change manager/tactics/subs things would be even better. Guess what though - they might not be they might be a whole lot worse.
Get behind the team, what is it now 8 wins from the last 10?

We tried it once, for half a season once in our history. Barely dipped our toe in.

It’s more about moving away from our mould of british only and being more open minded. Shopping in a bigger talent pond where we have more choice instead of being so tunnel visioned. We go for the same types and wonder why we don’t progress much or can’t break through.
Well that’s now all changed with the American ownership. Signing those 2 wingers shows they have ambitions outside of signing English talent.

But you see Leicester were outside the relegation zone with Cooper they went for the trendy foreign manager in RVN and plummeted down.

McKenna who is seen as the saviour of football (with a poorer record than Wilder) is just because he’s deemed to be a young modern manager.

A lot these days is on perception. But realistically it’s all about spending way above your means hoping for success for one season.

Makes me wonder if we go up he deserves his chance, then if we're relegated some on here will say,, he got us up last time he deserves another go!, hence we never move on
I would imagine these are the 2 most likely scenarios.

We get promoted, we keep Wilder and get relegated.

We get promoted, change Wilder and get relegated.

I’d rather one of our own be in that position than some foreign mercenary. No foreign manager is managing us for any other reason than a boat load of premier league money. Everyone knows we will go down.

This was the model we wanted to be a yo-yo club. Now we are here people aren’t happy.

Swansea play better football than us.
QPR for large parts played better football than us.

If football was judged on passing it out from the back Wilder wouldn’t be worthy of the job here.

But it’s a result business and he is the best at winning.

We have the most wins in the league.

Define playing better football? Swansea bore the tit's off me (I'm a dinosaur) and QPR huffed and puffed, but we're they playing better footy? We are not pretty and I would like to see us drive forward more, BUT if we keep winning I could not give a shit.
I've not seen many teams who find a way to turn out results that outdo performances week after week. I think that is a real talent, instilled by CW/AK and grossly underrated, especially by Blades onthis board.

Wilder is a straight talker ! Bit more reserved when interviewed on Sky
I personally find him a hard watch mate.
I can be critical even having met him with his Mrs in town after our first promotion to the prem.
Seemed perfectly decent and willing to take the accolade.
Met Alan Knill a day later.Cracking guy,very humble I thought.🙏

'Foreign mercenery'. It could be argued that walking out on the club with a £4million pay out was being mercenary.

That £4million could have been a significant amount when Liverpool were asking for their next installment.

What Jan signings have improved us?

BBD - and he was known entity from last year

All others - not at all
I'd argue they all have.

Had we not signed choudhary we would have really struggled of late to keep that midfield fresher. And he filled in yesterday at RB. Seriki is only just back from injury so without Hamza. Your looking at a youngster or Anel at RB.

Harry Clarke has added competition to that RB slot too. Can't see us signing him in summer mind you.

Holding was much needed in terms of numbers in defence and we've signed an experienced pro too.

Cannon we are yet to see him really get going. But he is at least adding to the competition up top.

BBD needs little explanation .

Two AI signings are a different way of thinking. One of them has hit the ground running in u21s though.

Foreign mercenary? What year is this? 1998? 😂

I once heard Emlyn Hughes call fans “speccys”

Which is far worse

They were needed I agree but not improvements on what we have already …

I really don't understand the current thinking of some fan's, when did we become so entitled? I've been a Blade my whole life (54Years old) In that time we have had the 4th division fun run, and 3 other spells. The Dave Bassett years, the Neil Warnock years, and Now with Chris Wilder. That's it. I have to say I've really enjoyed the ride with Wilder. The whole dynamics of football have changed recently, and yet Wilder has single handedly brought us back from the abyss. Lets enjoy, and get behind the team. UTB

Why shouldn’t we be entitled? What right do any club have to be winning trophies while others like ours hasn’t won a carrot in 100 years? There’s nothing wrong with wanting things to be better.

Yeah I’d agree with that but I was thinking more the starting 11
The starting XI was never the problem IMO, it was when we were hit with injuries and suspensions we struggled.

With the new signings that problem has been significantly reduced. It's also reduced the risk of injury as we now have the luxury of being able to rest players
