He's clearly here for the remainder of the season now . Probably 5th choice striker behind Sharp, Lavery, Done, and Hanson. Just hope there are enough goals in those 5

Agree, we had them rocking at two-two and could have snatched it. Lost all momentum when he came on for Lavery.

Send him to back to Scotland to his daft Twitter obsessed Dad who can moan about us again.

Wilder is not scared in mixing it up , and that's required on the attacking front , as we ain't enough goals in the players we have . It wouldn't surprise me if Clarke , Done , McNulty are shown the door in PX deals . Hanson being one

I kinda saw why he brought him on, to nik a goal, but if anything, we lost any pace or mobility up front, when he came on. Maybe should have took Sharp off, He was knackered. Again the midfield have to take more responsibility, and drive into the box. When Duffy did or Fleck, we had more joy.

Would've rather had scougall replace lavary, for his pace & work rate. Did lavary pick up a knock as I wouldn't have replaced him anyway. Sharp & McNulty too similar in height, pace, mobility etc....but obviously not in goal output.

Lavery is lightweight but tricky, not sure why he came off. We really need a big, strong, fast, midfielder, one who can charge forward and not stop outside the box, but battle and drive into it, cause panic, create a situation where a foul and penalty can happen, knock defenders about and create a space for Sharp, Lavery, Freeman, etc.

Just my opinion.

What's our record since he came back from Bradford?
Dressing room split again, getting people to mess about and get drunk and buy fireworks and cigs.

Bringing McNulty back and bidding for Hanson are both baffling. We need better quality than that.

And given our position, a league one team (yes top of the league but league one none-the-less), who would YOU recommend we should go for that's a proper target man and who fits within our budget?

We haven't quite reached the heights of signing the Zlatan Ibrahimovich type players of this world.

McNulty for me is Scottish league standard and won't play higher than English League One so is a non starter.

Hansen could do us a job to get us over the line come the end of the season.

I was totally baffled by the substitution of Lavery, who was causing all kinds off problems for Gillingham. McNuts did very little when he came on. Sometimes I see teams walk away from the Lane with all three points or, like today having grabbed a point and admitted that they deserved something, today, Gillingham were pants and deserved nothing, gifted a point by us.

I thought he looked quite sharp when he came on. Had a couple of decent efforts and was unlucky not to score.
Yes that's how I saw it and unlike some of our strikers seemed to stay around the box - you know - where the goal is

I'm happy with our choice of strikers but totally agree with you about a new CB

McNulty had a real chance to make a statement today, got plenty of time to show us he belongs here. First touch was awful, second touch was worse. He had a very good chance to drill it past the keeper but hit it straight at him, for the remaining 20 minutes he was a passenger.

Surprised Wilder brought him back, more surprised he took Lavery off for him.

Thought Lavery was our best striker today - unlucky to be hooked.

Looked complete shite today and should have taken his chance much better.

It tells us one thing today we need a striker or two, heaven help us should anything happen to Billy we would be screwed. Oh and we need a defender we are conceding far too many even against average opposition.
