So it seems we all agree, He is not yet good enough to command a regular place and we do not have the luxury of trying to build around him because of this. As for his fist touch in front of goal I would like to point to you the ones he's missed which will be as many as he's scored.Read Balham Blade 's post for McNultys' strengths,all i will add is that McNultys' first touch on the floor isn't normally too bad.He struggles when the ball is chucked in to him but on the floor he normally does alright.Have a look back at his goals and then tell me his first touch is shite,believe me you won't.
McNulty isn't the problem,it's how we approach games that needs to change.He will get goals if played right,playing with someone else up top or somebody else supporting him from midfield wouldn't go amiss.
I don't think he should start this Saturday and don't think he's the best finisher in the club.
