Bet he's a happy bunny tonight. It's been as clear as day for a while that he wasn't overly bothered about the job and was probably quite happy to take a huge pay off for being sacked if it was to happen.

He couldn't even be bothered to properly scout United out before we played them earlier this season, and it just struck me as someone who was very lazy in their work.

Only in football can someone walk away with millions of pounds for being totally shite at their job.

No doubt he will pop up again somewhere (probably somewhere nice and warm) with another nice job and big fat pay days.

Finish 2nd in the Spanish League with Villarreal (a town with a population of 60,000) and make the semi finals of the Champions League
Finish 2nd with his one season at Real Madrid, though with 96 points, at that time a club record total
Took Malaga to 4th in the Spanish league and to the quarter finals of the Champions League
Won the Premier League with Manchester City
Then... West Ham

It's hardly been a record of continual failure

Villarreal basically a suburb of Castellon (pop 600k).

But I agree with you, he's got a fantastic record. He had little to spend at West Ham, the club was and still is in turmoil. I'm glad he's gone because I reckon he'd have kept them up. They still have some decent players, and there are probably three worse teams in the PL, but a couple of injuries or suspensions and you never know. Wouldn't it be the icing on the cake if those fuckers went down?

Chris Wilder will have to prove himself at a “big club” before people start taking him seriously.
Any foreign players there will need to attend two very important courses.
