With fleck out of the team, taking Duffy out of the midfield too was a huge error.

How do we know Duffy wasn't carrying a knock?

Because he came on?How do we know Duffy wasn't carrying a knock?
I honestly think we may well have struggled even with the first eleven. Maybe CW thought that after seeing them against Wolves and decided to rest players for an unwinnable game?
Strange that Duffy was left out at the same time though.

Duff ran himself into the ground v Leeds, and has done so consistently of late. Given he's been a regular 60 or 70 minuter for most of last season and some of this, I'd guess he needed a rest.
Fine, bring him off at half time.
QPR really are an agricultural outfit.

Said exactly the same at half-time. Throw in that Coutts had a bit of an iffy 2nd half and that’s our holy trinity all absent at the same time.
If we wanted a reminded of how we used to play, this was it. Yes, in small spells we showed a glimmer of our usual stuff, but by and large we hit it long, we hit it aimlessly, and then tried to win the 2nd ball. We weren’t good at the former and were even worse at the latter. We might as well have gone full-Hanson if that had been the plan.
We clearly didn’t want to switch formation, so getting Duffy on for the injured Baldock constrained us a little in terms of going for it late on.
Just a really frustrating night that I hope we get out of our system immediately. I expect we will and this will be quickly forgotten.
Spot on Jay!Second time he's changed a winning team and we've lost, stick with the same team and change it if they get tired, not the other way round, taking Duffy and Sharp out after the Leeds game and that performance whilst missing Fleck i feel was a mistake, don't change a team whilst they're flying, we had an extra day recovery to them, we shouldn't be tired.
Brooks for all his talent is not a midfielder. Yet.
Sorry it makes me laugh. Tired of what,?Or tired?
We don’t. We just trust Wilder’s judgement. He’s earnt that.
