Getting to the cup final at Man City's expense would've been a minor miracle. That alone would've put many fans off from going.
A play-off final on the other hand...

Wasn’t it 31K out of a 34K allocation.

Eventho I’m a season ticket holder I gave Man City a miss, not enough points for some in our group of 5 and too much hassle just to see us lose.
But for this I’m prepared to jump through as many hoops as possible for all 7 of our group to go down…..because we have a great chance of winning, for once.

Someone wrote it the other day, trekking down to Wembley for a semi final, on the basis that you have to trek back down for the final is mental to ask fans to do.

I live down south but even for me, its probably quicker to get to S2 than it is Wembley by public transport....

Although for some its really nice to have those memories.

Some young lads were in the seats in front of me for that game, they were so excited before the game. when we conceded the penalty, one of them turned to me and went "at least we had a good day out"
