Can anyone explain to me why, with our sponsorship links to Malta, pre-season tour etc, the Maltese "star" we end up with is a dodgy goalkeeper who never plays for us and is farmed out on loan at the first opportunity, while the best player on the pitch last night was wearing a Barnsley shirt and comes from - Malta! Bogdanovic looked a class above our front two.

He scored 1, Henderson scored 2. He actually scored into an open net and didn't know too much about it at that. Class above?

I'm struggling to think of anything Bogdanovic did apart from the good save he forced from Benno in the 1st half and score from 2 yards with his thigh.

A class act? Really? Someone I think is a class act is a player who when he receives the ball you fear what he is going to do next. I could see it with Rooney when we played Man United. Bogdanovic was an average CCC player who had a good night.

Henderson does give free kicks away but he also assists a hell of a lot of goals by unsettling defenders and to do that you have to give fouls away. Look at the pig game, Hendo upset their defence and they crumbled. Hardly criminal is it?

Say what you like, I still reckon we signed the wrong Malteser!
I also think we will never get anywhere lumping the ball up the middle to Henderson. It's horrible to watch and it's hardly proving very effective, is it?

We are the 5th in the goals scored column of the CCC. That is effective enough to win promotion. However over the last 8 games we have conceeded the most goals in the CCC. So you really are targetting the wrong area to critiscise don't you think?
