Is he taking the fax machine
I don't think you can get a fax machine for £1, even on ebay.

Is he taking the fax machine
Did he jump or was he pushed?
Brannigan wasn't in the directors box at the game today. Scarily, Lee Clark was.
beg to differ.....I don't think you can get a fax machine for £1, even on ebay.
If he was the one responsible for letting Clough loose with the finances last season, I'd hope he was pushed.

The way it's going at the minute, he'd survive and leave us with a £2M medical bill.Hopefully he jumped off the South Stand roof
Logic tells me that Brannigan's days have been numbered since Phipps and co. realised Clough had been riding roughshod over the Recruitment Committee.
If a Chief Exec is not capable of carrying out his brief re player signings i.e. a full involvement from appointed members of the committe rather than Clough doing his own thing, then the Chief Exec deserves the sack.
Big problem for Brannigan was that it was Clough who got him the job in the first place. Oh no, he didn't even know he was in the running for it, I remember now!!
Does anyone know who exactly was on the recruitment committee ? Was Brannigan a member?
Btw, you were pretty excited about Brannigans appointment citing him as a key member of Nigel Cloughs 'dynasty' and the latest rung in Clough and his team climbing the ladder to success.
(I don't think he talks about comments he's made in the past anymore out of self preservation).
This is a rumour and i am sorry but i won't name the source as it isn't fair, but i have been told that our prince wants total control and won't put anymore money in until he has, he wants his own people doing all the dealings including transfer could this be the start of the backroom clearout??
Maybe belongs in the rumour mill by hey.
What, he's gonna work part time in the club shop?![]()
The comments made by Phipps blaming Clough for the recruitment policy & the lasting legacy created don't stack up - Clough may well have identified, promoted & championed the causes of his targets but I'd be extremely surprised if he (Clough) signed the cheques.Does anyone know who exactly was on the recruitment committee ? Was Brannigan a member?

Absolutely delighted if this is true.
The club now has an opportunity to recruit a Chief Exec or Footballing Director that has experience and contacts within the game. Look at the Pigs and how Glenn Roeder has helped get some real quality in, we need a similar appointment that can tell Nigel to wind his neck in the next time he asks for another Hammond or Woolford.
I definitely wouldn't rule it out that we're that daft. Clark had that inexplicable, undeserved aura around him when he was at Huddersfield and that could easily fool our board.
It's obvious what he was doing at our game anyway, same as the other managers who sometimes turn up - just lining up an opportunity for himself and checking up on us in the likely event that there'll be a vacancy again soon.
For fucks sake any player looking for a contract should make sure he is fitter than the twat he is to replace. First rule is be fit, ready and available. No club should waste money on a player who is too idle to keep himself fit.I think the Hammond signing is a good example of a signing gone wrong. Not because we shouldn't have tried to sign him but because it far too long to get him. Adkins clearly wanted him early on during the window so we would have some time to get him fit. The fact it dragged on so long clearly showed someone wasn't doing their job properly.
A manager wants players now not 3 months later. If a deal can't be done then move on to another target.

Brannigan lives about five miles from me and has definitely parted company with Utd, according to my ITK sources.
No doubt with a generous pay off. Although the appointment of Adkins and subsequent transfer dealings would surely warrant instant dismissal![]()
Warnock's out of a job. Employ him from now until the JTW and put him in charge of all transfers, in and out.
