I have seen little or no comment on this. Was it obviously offside? It was impossible to see from right behnd the Kop goal where I was sitting, but there seem no protests from the players and the crowd didn't go apopletic either, so perhaps it was.

I was sat line. Yes.

He didn't need to be offside to score either. Very frustrating.

The highlights on the Football League Show were crap. They didn't show Maguire's disallowed goal or Blackman absolutely wallop the post but they showed Howard's save from the close range header, making it appear that we had no chances of note, which is definitely not the case. Those I've mentioned, plus the two sitters Gallagher missed, we should have trounced them.

The main difference I've noticed between this division and the one above is the quality of the finishing, with poor passing being the other. Last season, Ched set us apart from the pack in the finishing department, this season I don't think any of our strikers are clinical enough to do this. They are all good, solid players at this level, with lots of potential, and I do rate Blackman in particular very highly, but we need a finished product to get us up.

Well offside. Could tell he was going to be offside on the run up for the free kick.

I think as Kitson gets fitter he could be the clinical striker we need at this level.

As others have said he was well off side. I had a perfect view from the Family Stand. He was looking along the line too so no idea what he was thinking.

Bert was watching from Block B of the New South Stand. He was at least 20 yards offside.

Baldken wonders if his Royal Bertness s recent spat with the ticket office has now been resolved?

The matter has yet to be resolved, however Bert did go to the Doncaster game and didn't pay, nor did Bert Jnr.

Bert had root canal treatment to one of his front teeth last week, it was far more enjoyable than the Doncaster match.
