Wasn't Dronfield an old swingers town? Sure that if you have a piece of heather outside your house it meant you were up for some "rumpy pump"

Dronfield Hilltop Sports and Social Club had a bit of a swingers rep in 70's.
As previously stated Dronnie is the centre of the universe!

I thought it was Dronfield Contact club on Snape Hill ,keys on the table job ,was the story.

It was the Hilltop S&S. The Sun run a story on it at the time.

Loads of footballers in Dronny when I were a lad. Don't know of any current ballers in town at the moment. Prices probably put them off - good - don't want any new money types lowering the tone up our end

I know. I worked there for 3 years. People can "just tell" you're not local.

I bet if I named two people, you would know both

I haven't lived there for 20 years although my Mum and Dad still do, When I go back I never see anyone I know in pubs etc. Must be all new money etc!!!
