Hoping CW has one more transfer up his sleeve.

E.Stevens needs some competition (and by competition I dont mean Lafferty). I feel his game has slipped and we really do not have any suitable replacement players.

•not really rumour... but open to player suggestions!

We could do with one, dont think we will see one though. Sam McQueen could be a good option as a loan.

Norrington davies, young lad who I believe we picked up from Swansea, was on the bench against Ipswich in th3 cup

I’ve seen this lad play and he looks a real talent. Not sure how close to the first team he is but this lad has a real chance in the future.

I agree we do need some competition for the LWB role but we have to remember we are wheeling and dealing. I’m sure Chris would like to turnover 8 players or so and bring in 8 new ones but this will have to wait until the summer.

We need some patience and we can slowly build. We don’t wanna go all or bust like the pigs.

I was at Preston mate, and when Lafferty came on he changed the game, was a much better player than Stevens, got forward more and made us much more competitive. To be honest I was surprised he didn't start the next few games after that.

I thought he came on in Centre Midfield?

He was bombing down the wing and putting crosses in, maybe he was supposed to be in the centre, but he wasn't from where I was stood.

He did play in midfield, although drifted down that side a few times, which Fleck also tends to do.

I also agree that it would have been good to have a more attacking option down the left for games like Friday's. Stevens had a poor game and Lafferty doesn't really add any more dribbling and flair, so Wilder didn't bother making a change. When we struggle to pass through teams we need someone with the pace and skill to get past a marker and create more problems.

Preston scored straight after he came on!

Give Thomas a go if there isn’t room for one.

Sam McQueen could be a really good shout for the summer. At 23 Southampton will have a decision to make on him.

Ryan Sessegnon. Get wallet out McCabe. Where's allt money gone?

Wrong thread mate I think you meant to but it in this one,
Favourite Daft Rumour So Far?

I'm following suit with the stupidity of this forum now we've signed a few players.

Holmes at LWB and Leonard at RCB! Next Leon will be Sweeper with Duffy and Blackman as the CBs.
