See link below for footage of when Luton beat the Blades by 2-1 in December 1970 (the footage doesnt show TC's penalty goal late in the game). Luton's right back who crossed to Malcolm MacDonald for the first goal is John Ryan (who played for us from 1980 to 1982). Don Givens, who missed that infamous penalty for us in 1981, can be seen celebrating the first goal and collecting the ball from the net. Jimmy Ryan (who was Luton's manager in the early 1990s) scored the 2nd goal. I think it was Colin Addison's last match for us (he had a bad injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season) and can be seen in the video trying to block John Ryan's cross with his hands. The number 4 who dispossessed MacDonald just before the throw in that led to the 2nd goal is Dave Powell. It can be seen in the video that Hodgy wasnt saving shots like he used to. I was at the match and my dad's car had broken down when we arrived at Luton. The AA didnt arrive until about 7pm!
