Lundstram's transformation

Some opinions are more accurate than others, that’s inevitable... 😄

And as our long mutual history tells us, and you have previously acknowledged, my opinions are more accurate than yours.

So, just to confirm, Didsy was MOM, emerging from a very strong field.

Got huge flack for backing Lundstrum when he was being picked at the start of the season. Glad to see the kid has kicked on. Just shows what you can do if you put in the hours of hard graft. Hopefully he continues to put in these performances as he seems to be getting better and better every game.

Go Lundstraaaaaaahm, on the commentary. Bet if he played for Man Ure, Chelskie or Arsewipe they’d get his name right. Fucking cunts.

Just out of curiosity, I had a look at the surname Lundstram on a website which has census information so you can see the prevalence of surnames and such, the latest complete data is from 2014 but there are no Lundstrams in Sweden. All in the UK (England and Wales), there's a few Lundstroms knocking about, but there are almost as many Baldocks in Sweden as Lundstroms.

LundstrAhm is doing my nut, it's the new calling Kante 'Conte'.

You’ve lost your money. A midfielder notches two of your three goals in a 3-0 Premier League win. That’s your man of the match. No question. Fleck, JOC, Moose and Egan were also ahead of Didsy.

All opinions count but to have five possiblly ahead of McG shows what a team we have in anyone's book.

Scoring Goals is the object of the game. Key contributions leading to goals rightly attract a premium in assessing a performance.

Lunny contributed a great deal more than ‘only’ goals.

Didsy had a fantastic game. I ❤ quality footballers and he is just that. But fantastic was the mean for our boys yesterday. Others surpassed that. Jonny Egan was a wall. JOC flawless. Moose an electric eel. Fleck at his very best, driving forward with purpose.

You're talking some rubbish here mate. Scoring goals is important, but you're acting like it's the only true metric to a good performance. By that logic, it's practically impossible for a keeper or defender to win MoM, which to quote a poster, is nonsense.

They prevent the opposition from achieving the object of the game, which is equally important. I included JOC and John Egan for that reason.

He’s massively improved his fitness levels too and his physique compared to last season is markedly better, great athleticism.

Yep - still chowing down on my Lunny Pie.

He is turning into a player Wilder can't afford not to pick and owning that sacred number seven shirt.

pommpey

Interesting, if I think of that number, Woodward is automatically there. Wow !!

Remember when he USED to pass and give the ball away all the time wtf happened to him ? Unbelievable transformation.
No, I remember when he’d occasionally give the ball away and get absolutely hammered for it whilst Duffy would give it away several times in most games and get a sainthood.

'electric Sheffield United' !
I like that, and good to see the Mail plugging us, quite a shock !

I know mate, I nearly choked on my cuppa when I first saw it.

Seems odd that his new contract still hasn't been signed. He'll be free to negotiate with other clubs in January.

Good point. Wonder if negotiations aren't going smoothly, seemed ever so slightly off it in last couple of games, although of course that could just be fatigue.

Such has been his incredible rise that it's hard to understand what calibre of clubs would come in for him.

4 months ago you would say he isn't even a proven championship player and you would have expected him to probably go to a top half League one team on a perm deal or on loan.

Now I think it's feasible that even top half premier league sides might look at him and think he'd be a really useful squad player to get for no transfer fee and low wages. I think if there was any hint his boyhood club Everton were interested I don't think we could persuade him to stay.

Lunny still mixing it with the best in the FPL Dream Team, and our George has got in there aswell!

Presumably that line up was chosen by a computer and not someone who's ever been to a football match .

FFS .

It’s a fantasy football line up. For the fantasy football game.

In a shopping centre today somewhere somewhere in deepest, darkest Espoo.

Shopkeeper: “Nice beanie!”
Me: “Thanks”
(awkward silence)
Shopkeeper: “Lundstram!!!”

Always had a soft spot for Xmas shopping.
