The last two days I saw two live games where the central Midfielders where two full England regulars Jordan Henderson and Declan Rice

Both of them where not in the light year as Lunnys performance tonight.. or for most of the season,, he was immense out there

Yep. I was totally wrong to be so negative about him being part of the squad this season.

Don't see why he shouldn't be considering for England as well

The flat 3 played great today, had a heart attcak when he took Norwood off for McBurnie but clearly another genious move by the genious.

Exactly what I said to my mate. Wilder’s substitutions were genius. Saw that they were still pushing onto us so took off a midfielder for a striker and pressed them high.

I said all along he was there for his strength. The latter end of last season he was brought on to close games with his control of midfield. He's just suited to the prem it fits him like a glove

It’s mental how he featured so little last season.

I'm gonna argue the flat 3 look better with Didsy starting. We looked much more of an attacking threat then we did vs. Watford and I attribute most of that to Didsy playing deeper.

It's a man who's realised the enormity of the opportunity presented and worked his spuds off to make the most of it.

We got a taste towards the end of last season, improved fitness and the drive and he's just pushed on.

Always had the technical ability, but now he's using it well.

Full credit to him. Could’ve sulked and been shipped out and no one would’ve questioned it. He’s now one of our key men.

When he brought down the hoof from Deano, that was genuine class. Made me laugh out loud that, can't remember anyone turning it round like this, it's daft

I know what you mean, crackers ain't it?!

In recent years I would say, maybe, Basham has come close though? He looked all over the place when Nigel brought him in, then all of a sudden out came the Bashambauer. Never looked back.

Was a beast toneyt, thought Oli and Flecky were brilliant as well, tireless all game.

Say what you like about rating him before this season, I didn’t and I’m happy to admit it

Absolutely no one saw this coming. He’s been outstanding.
And I’m deadly serious, he can’t be far from England selection if this level of performance continues, surely

I think that incredible touch was on his left foot as well.

Two footedness is my favourite thing about him. None of the others come close to him in that regard.

In that poll before the season I said he'd be the first to get a cap half joking (though I'm one of the ones who rated him), but I've seen Liverpool plenty this season and their Henderson isn't fit to lace Lunny's boots.

If we can keep up the performances, it'll say more about Southgate than Lundstram if he's not included for the next international games.

I know Hendo got a call up, but I think Lundstram would actually play and do well in an England midfield.

Lundstram's two footedness is a key strength. I watched him play for the U23s last December. I swear that at one stage I thought he might be deliberately alternating Hollywood Balls out wide with his right foot, left foot, right foot.

Lenny for England......I would have said you were going crackers Aki...if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes......still trying to fathom WTF is happening but it’s great to see🤔
