Not played for Leicester since last season but played 3 outta 7 games for England u21s so least he's match fit.

Like a more defensive Boz. VERY different to Lowe.

BIG upgrade on Larouci who, is surprisingly similar to another we've been linked with - Jonny Otto.

Because we have almost all the left wing backs injured ? RND,Lowe,Osborne oh and Larouce is shit ?
Unfortunately it's more evidence of the flawed decision making by the club. Everyone knew we had major problems at LWB and this should have been addressed by signing a reliable, decent option weeks ago. Instead we took a punt on Larouci and and now have to use an important loan slot.
I understand we've been unlucky with injuries, however the injured players (Ozzie and Lowe) were clearly not good enough anyway.

LOL. Getting a loan in from a Championship club. Whatever next? 🤣

Maybe there is/was no one better than Lowe who was available

Actual data. Clear and obvious upgrade on anything we had yesterday.
Toggle that to the per90 option and it's not as clear cut. In fact, you'd probably want Ben Osborn but it is a bit of a tallest dwarf thing.

[I accept that Osborn's stats are padded a bit as he played in midfield under Wilder]

It was more the PL experience that l was highlighting. TBH, l find the stats on that site pretty opaque. Those round graphs are more my speed.

Top signing - moved swiftly to give us a real chance of plugging a big problem area

Interesting stats. Larouci is great at carrying the ball based on that, which we miss by not having McAtee and Illie. Thomas seems progressive in terms of passing. Lowe seems the best bet to get an end product though whilst offering more defensive stats - is how I read that. Am I right?

Obvs stats based on last season are very different to why we need/will happen this season though.

Did a similar concept using percentile ranks over the last 365 days
Larouci in theory offers a bit more going forwards, Thomas more solid defensively

Thomas looks a bit like Palace's Mitchell in terms of this map

They're great, cheers.

Larouci looks a bit like Oli Burke - gets into good positions but doesn't really have the end product.

Thomas looks like a solid defender, who likes a pass into the final third and consistently creates chances from them.

Glad we've got him to defend our L flank but we'll make no progress up that side until we sign a L-footed attacking MF

Available to us ?
Berge and Ndiaye weren’t available for sale, someone got in their ears and then the clubs made an offer et voila, they’re gone!

It’s how transfers tend to work. You want a player and you make an offer and pay for them, normally at market value or above (apart from Ndiaye, who was sold for far less).

The bit you missed out is whether the player wants to join us . Let’s hope Macatee does !

Common practice would be to offer them market rate wages, that tends to get them to come.

As I've said, judgement will be reserved on this signing, however by Hecky's own admission, the reason we've signed him is because:

a) he's available
b) he wanted to come

The reason he's available is that Leicester don't need him, they are in the division below us. This is a worry for me.

The reason he wanted to come was because he's going to play for a PL team instead of sitting on the bench in the Championship, it was a no brainer for the lad.

Huge upgrade on Larouci. Notice how few times (if any) Everton got in down that side once Thomas came on, compared to them being able to get down there at will with the flimsy Larouci defending
