What a waste of time Loaning Freeman out is now we are short in a back up for fleck

Now we have to sign another player to replace freeman, we wont find a player as good as luke freeman who can play as LCM and also play as an attacking mid

If we were getting 4/5 Million then fair enough but a loan for a season is daft makes no sense at all

Unless Matty Cash has something to do with loaning Freezy to Forrest then this is bad business on our part. At least sell him a get a bit of money back on the lad to spend elsewhere. 🤞 Cash is involved

Freeman will be getting a season of football in a good footballing side

he then either comes back with more confidence or forest pay us the money back

it’s not a completely wasted deal as some make out

Shoot me down for saying this but I’m sure Luke Freeman would have offered us something different these past two games.

He’s not exactly helped forest to a better position so far.

I do take the point though, we brought Osborn on when chasing the game. It’s not ideal and we have no one that offers anything different in midfield in an attacking sense. I think Over the course of a season we will need an to try different things, we can have infinite strikers but we would be as well getting someone to provide for them as well imo.

Won't shoot you down, but will disagree. I don't think either game was set-up for him; particularly last night. There wasn't any performance last season from him in similar adversity that made me think he could grab a game by the scruff of the neck and change the outcome.

Agreed about last night at 0-0 but surely he’s a better option to bring on than Osborn when you’re chasing a game. Not knocking Osborn as such, but I’d argue Freeman is better on the ball.

Against Wolves we had the bulk of possession in the second half and he’s a player who can unlock a defence.

I always thought he did well in his cameos last season. He was just a victim of Fleck’s superb form - which unfortunately isn’t there at the minute.

Wilder was obviously happy to let him leave though, so that’s that but we are seriously lacking a creative midfielder.

Has anyone watched any Forest games? Not sure how he’s doing on a personal level but they’re having a stinker

Forest were awful, they didn’t register a shot on target in the second half. They all looked poor tbf so can’t single out anyone individually. Lamouchi days are numbered. Got a great squad

I'd like to have seen Osborn winning the ball for Freeman to unlock the defence with perhaps O'Connell/Lowe completing the triangle on the left and feeding whoevers found space in the 6 yard box.Mind you I'm no tactical wizard. 😉

Did OK. Bit mixed, for example about five minutes before he was substituted he did a trick to find some space on the left to put a reasonable cross in. Couple of minutes later, tried to do a trick on the left and lost possession. If I was a Forest fan I wouldn’t be saying he’s a crap signing but I didn’t look at him and think he’d be great in the PL (based on that performance).

Their system and set up seems a little bizarre for me considering their squad and the level they're at.

Agreed with Mick McCarthy on commentary last week when he said they wouldn't get away with this style in front of crowds, especially at home.

He was their best player when I watched them last week but that wasn’t saying much, they were absolute dogshit.

He may well turn out to be one of those players who can't make the step up

Fucking hell on his weaker right peg as well. Although this maybe the reason he was loaned out... 🤔 ⚔

I feel like he’s in a Paul Shaw moment – sone think as he’s doing ok on loan he’s suddenly the answer to all the current problems.
