He doesn't look better than what we've got based on the videos - I know that doesn't tell the full story but I'm not convinced. The one thing we lack is pace and he hasn't got that - again based on the video.

I haven't watched much of him, other than odd clips, but I doubt he's better than what we have, based on how well Billy and Leon are doing and we have decent cover in Donaldson and Brooks as a deep forward if he plays there. I think Cole is still a better bet with his outstanding pace.

There doesn't appear to be much middle ground where Scottish forwards are concerned.

You either get the Steve Archibald types, who seem to adjust to the English game with ease, or there's someone like Mark McNulty, who promised much but never delivered in the way we all hoped. We'll rely on Wilder's team to decide if Moult is worth considering.

Personally I think any outlay on players from Scottish leagues comes with a massive element of risk. And yes that applies to Benaghan too.

It's L1 standard. He may be able to step up but it's not a given. I've only seen him once or twice so can't really tell. Alex Neill knows the SPL though and knows how hard the championship is so he must be quite confident he can step up.

Have to disagree about Evans, CW rates him highly, n I think CW n AK will help him find some form again, not worth selling at present to be fair, extra few quid with a couple of spring goals too.
