They gave Wilder a small fortune just 6 months ago. Most of the signings he made with that money were a complete flop or barely played.

Maybe that's why they are being a bit more cautious from here on in?

The issue for me is not that the consortium sanctioned a £10m signing, but whether they borrowed the money to pay for it?

There’s been posts on here saying this, but not had it confirmed (I don’t think?)
