To seeing how the gaffer and his team learn from this lack of form. He got off to the the worst possible start as United boss and rectified that, and then some.

The loss of Coutts derailed the following season but we still ended the campaign in a respectable mid-table position, before Wilder rectified the midfield issues with the signing of Norwood. We then went on to gain promotion to the PL with one of the lowest budgets in the league.

COVID-19 put paid to what can only be described as a dream season back in the top flight. Taking MCFC and LFC our of it, to be unbeaten away from home up until lockdown was incredible. A lack of support from the stands clearly had an impact on our levels, albeit not exclusive to us.

A bad start to the season has got everyone worried and wondering. I’m taking a positive - everything happens for a reason - look at things, and I’m looking forward to how we fight our way out of this current lack of form and how the gaffer learns from it to take us forward once again.

I think CW/AK will manage to get us going OK. We are not a basket case shipping loads of goals, and we are making good chances. As long as we stay up, of which I am confident, then we will further improve the squad for exciting times ahead when we can get back to the Lane.

I don't doubt for one second that Chris has the nous to turn things around. It just feels like there is a real cloud over the team at the moment, and it's clear in his interviews that he is starting to feel dejected by the situation. He isn't the type to give in though, so I expect him to smash us out of this malaise at some point.

It's going to be a slog, but that first win will lift the mood immeasurably. Thankfully the season has barely started, so time is on our side.

We just need to get that confidence back. I genuinely think that we miss the fans but I think CWAK will sort it out. We haven't turned shit, we are just lacking the confidence that some decent form brings.

I think we need to reassess at the next International break when we will have played games we might win.
At that point it will be clearer whether we are stuffed or whether we can get out of the situation, perhaps with help from the JTW.
At some stage Fleck and Mousset will be back.

As tough as it looks, I feel we'll stay up....and I'm excited if we do, how we'll grow as a team.....not having fans has been a bigger miss for us than most teams, and I could see us learning a lot, and growing in character with staying up!!
Wilder feels made for the task 💪 will see.
