He was playing at a High level until he ruptured his ACL in Feb 2017. He was out until Feb 2018.Semple I am interested to hear more about. In the 2016/2017 pre-season vs. Hallam he looked a good defender and was surprised we couldn't find him an improved level of football above QoS but perhaps the grit & harsh conditions up there will add the 'Morgs' side to his game (if it was lacking) as part of his development.
Played 8 or so games towards the end of last season.
Personally QOTS is perfect for him. His technical ability is never in question but after his injury the undoubted added physicality of the Scottish Championship is exactly what he needs. Moving away from home and Sheffield to be more independent is no bad thing.
It must be noted that he has already played 10 or so full 90 minutes. By my reckoning he should play 30 first team games by January when he comes back to us fitter, stronger and with more experience.
