Semple I am interested to hear more about. In the 2016/2017 pre-season vs. Hallam he looked a good defender and was surprised we couldn't find him an improved level of football above QoS but perhaps the grit & harsh conditions up there will add the 'Morgs' side to his game (if it was lacking) as part of his development.
He was playing at a High level until he ruptured his ACL in Feb 2017. He was out until Feb 2018.

Played 8 or so games towards the end of last season.

Personally QOTS is perfect for him. His technical ability is never in question but after his injury the undoubted added physicality of the Scottish Championship is exactly what he needs. Moving away from home and Sheffield to be more independent is no bad thing.

It must be noted that he has already played 10 or so full 90 minutes. By my reckoning he should play 30 first team games by January when he comes back to us fitter, stronger and with more experience.

I've been looking foward to this, thought I'd have to wait for the international break.
Top work as ever Roy.

According to the Queens manager Gary Naismith it was Mogs who recommended the lad to them. Certainly looks like a bit of aggression is being added to his football skill, no bad thing. He also plays every week and so its been a good move for all parties

Striker problem solved, welcome back Mr Evans!!

I was off t'internet for a few days and have only just seen this, but great work Roy.

It won’t !!!

From the Fleetwood town Gazette.

Ched Evans 9
Like Hunter played a part in both goals. Will be scratching his head as to why his first was chalked off but there again, poaching in the six-yard box. Great work to tee-up Hunter for the second. His physicality and eye for goal is key to this Town team. His defensive work too cannot go unnoticed.

Sorry, but we have better options than Ched Evans....they can have him for £300k....he’s not up to championship level IMO.

He may not be up to championship level, but I don't know how you can say that: he's clearly too good for League 1 if he's getting a goal a game...

Still only poaching but the quote "His defensive work too cannot go unnoticed."
Bodes well for Evans as that is a big part of what is expected at United.

He looked miles off when we were first in the champ with him and miles off last year.

That said I think if he keeps up this level of performance we’ll make a profit.

For me the Chedwyn ship has sailed.
