I just can't understand some peoples concern about using the loan market, isn't this the way, whether we like it or not, football is heading while the big clubs are allowed to sigh up all the young players who show any signs of promise, and the powers that be encouraging it.
it used to be just about giving young players experience or putting those not in the managers plans in the shop window and still is to a point , But with the increasing use of players has substitutes for tactics rather than for injuries and to play in European competitions more and more of the big clubs want to hold on to their best players, but as that group of fringe players gets bigger and bigger how long will it be before we get "RENT A TEAM^ from the big clubs for the lower leagues and do you think this will be a good or bad thing for our game ?

I can only reply to this as it reflects on our club and our current situation. I realise that th OP has a wider remit, but from my point of view it deserves attention if it works well for us.
Hecky has been quite clear about his position, but in such financial circumstances there is no choice.
Where would we be without MGW? Hourihane is finding his feet alongside a resurgent Norwood Davies is an adequate choice when he has been available. Goode looks to be a competent and likeable filler but we have yet see him play in this side.
Will Robinson make his chance work at centre back? Is there a place for Berge in the midfield? Can Ndiaye replace MGW? Will the real John Fleck make an appearance this season?
I ask those questions, because that is what we could be left with at seasons end, when loan players return to parent clubs.
Right now, we have good options and potentially, a very strong bench/strength and depth throughout the squad.
If we do get promotion this season, Hecky will probably have to resort to loan players again, just to keep the squad ticking over.
Promotion might make some money available for permanent signings, but we could struggle if we stay in the championship next season?
I have faith in what we have seen and heard from the management team so far. I hope they can keep the current Blades brand on track.
