I’m guessing you didn’t go to or watch the game yesterday! Norwood ran the game and gave a masterclass performance

Im guessing that I've touched a nerve with this one. My criticism of Norwood is that he may have upped his game recently, because his contract expires next summer.
If I wanted to be critical of his football, I could have mentioned that, if he is pressed and shut down by opposition tactics he is less effective. Maybe I could have mentioned his lack of pace, or one footed preference?
I could also remind his fans that many supporters found fault with his dead ball game in previous seasons. Others have criticized his free kicks and corners over the last three seasons. I was not the one who rubbished his lack of pace, or his decision making, (Hollywood Pass preference anyone?)
I actually commented on his recent improvement in form, and questioned his motive for that improvement.
This is frowned upon, especially because it happened when he had a good game, and the team got an excellent result.
Maybe my posts are just too subtle, and maybe I am wrong. Its an opinion. Get over yourselves.

He speaks well and seems a decent bloke. He also has demonstrated quality football on occasions, just more so recently. Make your own minds up about the reasons for that, but let's not pretend there isn't some seriously misplaced idol worship going on here. Like all players he has lapses in consistency and i'm not the only one to notice that. It happens to most players.

What utter drivel. He was fantastic as soon as he joined, almost single handedly turning us from a mid-table championship team to one challenging for the title. He then had a very strong first season in the Prem.

2nd Prem season and under Slav he was poor, but since Hecky came in he’s been consistently one of our best performers.

We will really miss him when he’s gone and it’s a shame that people don’t appreciate him while he’s here.

Can you explain why the few times we’ve been without him, we’ve been shocking. Norwood is as good a midfielder as you’ll get in the championship. Otherwise Berge would have taken over his role.

Did he not play in any of our recent games then? You know the ones where we lost a couple of games and failed to record a win.
