Or just make a buzzing noise that sounds like a vibrator.

We were discussing this. The music was all wrong. The last time I saw a really good strobe light thing was in about 1993 at a Curve gig. My Bloody Valentine 'Soon' would make a great tune to go with the lights.
My youngest thought it was really good, maybe that is the target audience, 11 year olds who like Fortnite.

Did anyone actually get a recording of last nights light show??

Its part of the epl product. Every club has the phillips led lights, not only for those light shows but also for uhd tv broadcasts, also for flicker free replays on tv, you have to have it in the premier league. Now all we need is Michael Buffer to announce the players. Lets get ready to rumble !

...It's the inevitable conclusion...don't mind it mate! Loves me a bit of soccer ball

I thought it was pretty good, even enjoyed the Balti Pie. On the whole, had worse nights....................

I’d sooner fly a camera drone over the lane than sit on the Kop.

I think there's a place for it but not so close to kick-off - killed the atmosphere. Build up to kick-off should be the home & away fans trying to out-chant each other, with a few Blades "classics" thrown in the mix for good measure.
On another note, are the sprinklers part of the show...is it a fire, light and water experience?
From the BLUT it looked and sounded spectacular and the sprinklers enhanced it. Subjective stuff of course. Not quite Pink Floyd or Genesis 😄but enjoyable all the same. I certainly didn't let it kill my enthusiasm and efforts to create some atmos. I sang my heart out ,to the annoyance of a wee family in front of me who could easily have stared at their phones in the comfort of their home. I wonder why some people bother. What a brilliant night and what a Club we are becoming. UTB
