Last time we did that didnt we get in the play offs?Jesus we're gonna try and shithouse 1-0's all season aren't we
We have spent a lot of money on our CB"s. Amenda was wanted by top clubs around the world, but he came to us as he will get game time and sees us as a stepping stone. Pinnock is an experienced Prem CB. Thomas was our preferred CB last season out of the two of them. We've brought in Mfuni on loan from Manchester City who can play LB or CM.Without knowing much about him - why isn't he in and around Coventrys first team if hes as good as people say?
Thought they would want all the depth they could get?
He is/was our vice captain so would settle into the role quickly.Make him captain, we have no other candidate
This would also make him more likely to come on a permanent deal
I read he's 6ft 3" i saw him at side of campbell they looked about same height !Another Coventry player. Someone give the lad a pie....

he looks excited to join
How are you guys still trying to be our feeder club when you’re now above us?He is/was our vice captain so would settle into the role quickly.
They’ll not get past us now even if they throw the Kitching sink at usOh goody! Another flipping defender!
I’d sooner have quality protection in front of the back line. It was amazing how good the defence looked with a destroyer like Vini Souza consistently breaking up play in the middle of the park…Still not replaced him yet. Will be on big wages. I get we need a centre back in but I’d rather pay the money opposite end of the pitch, think we need at least two players especially if Ohare is off.
The kebabs are fucking great up here.
I can agree with this. All of our defenders went on the attack last season. Our player in front of the defence was Grimes and he did the job very well. Won the ball frequently and rarely ever lost it. I just think the step up to the Prem is a bit much for him.I’d sooner have quality protection in front of the back line. Fingers crossed Phillips can be that man.
Oh ffs lord braggards back.We have spent a lot of money on our CB"s. Amenda was wanted by top clubs around the world, but he came to us as he will get game time and sees us as a stepping stone. Kitching would have been 4th or 5th choice. Very good for Championship level but not good enough for the Prem. Wouldn't surprise me if he is your best signing this season. Played a big part in what ended up being the best defence in the Championship last season.
Robbo had a bare knuckle fight in a park in Liverpool. The man he fought became a pro boxer and was in Court in Liverpool last week on an attempted murder charge.Yeah but he used to go to a boxing gym and some of our fans think that makes you a hardman.
Someone like Morgs would have slapped him up and down cherry street.
Hello fanny.Oh ffs lord braggards back.
Thanks for the info on kitchin once i'd bypased all the drivel about how your squad is the envy of Europe I fell asleep before I got to read itHello fanny.
Why don't you do us both a favour and block me? Only came on to give information on Kitching that some appreciate. You have quoted me on why we have let him go on loan.
Look at your past digs at me. I said we missed Hamer but not O'Hare. We have got Hamer back but wasn't interested in O'Hare. Now the general consensus on O'Hare is exactly what I said about him. Always gives 100% but not very good with the ball especially in the penalty area. All you saw was his best run for us just before you signed him and expected goals and excitement.
I will most probably be back next seasonI enjoy talking football and so do others on here.
Yeah but he used to go to a boxing gym and some of our fans think that makes you a hardman.

And as usual you're totally wrong. I take it because it's your place and not mine. Thanks for the info on kitchin once i'd bypased all the drivel about how your squad is the envy of Europe I fell asleep before I got to read it
Im sure it was full of informative titbits like how he loves Coventry more and how Frank lampard shits gold bars
So thanks for that
The guy he had a fight with was Paddy Lacey who was never a world champion, never had a title fight , he was a semi pro footballer and carpet fitter turned boxer , obviously quite handy but a million miles away from a world champion, in fact Jack Robinson probably closer to winning the world cup than he was to a world titleRobinson was game as fuck. If he had a load of boxing training behind him that would make him very handy.
Most blokes overestimate how good they'd be in a fight. Step in a ring with someone with a fair bit of training behind them and it's no contest.
Morgs might've been able to lump ten bells out of an average Joe, but I wouldn't be confident about him in a street fight with a boxer.
Robinson had a scrap in a park with a boxing world champ. That same boxer said he's a hard little fucker. I'd take his word.
