Without knowing much about him - why isn't he in and around Coventrys first team if hes as good as people say?

Thought they would want all the depth they could get?

We have spent a lot of money on our CB"s. Amenda was wanted by top clubs around the world, but he came to us as he will get game time and sees us as a stepping stone. Pinnock is an experienced Prem CB. Thomas was our preferred CB last season out of the two of them. We've brought in Mfuni on loan from Manchester City who can play LB or CM.

Kitching would have been 4th or 5th choice. Very good for Championship level but not good enough for the Prem. Wouldn't surprise me if he is your best signing this season. Played a big part in what ended up being the best defence in the Championship last season.

Spoke well in his interview tonight … seems like the kind of “muck and nettles” character we need … and I hope he can add some leadership at the back.

Spoke to Cov mates and apart from the odd mistake or clumsy challenge they say he'll he'll do well for us and we'll be a fan favourite in no time.
