Give hecky a chance. I'll be first to admit I got my g string in a twist, but having listened to his interview regards getting the job, I think he'll turn out to be a decent enough manager.

Pluses

Knows the players from last season, knows the formation that suits them, seems a genuine, down to earth bloke who knows what it needs to be successful. Has a massive understanding of the youth team and the potential prospects we've got in there.

Negatives
His track record isn't the greatest. Pretty poor at Hibs. I'll let him off with the Leeds job, at the time they were a basketcase of a club.

We're in uncharted territory (again) and further division isn't gonna help the situation. Yeah the prince is a bit of a cunt, Bettis is apparently reptilian, think the foundations have been set for the sale of the club myself. Can see that happening (hoping) at some point in the not too distant future.

Generally, if you're lucky, you get one player out of a youth team who makes the grade.

If we're pinning our hopes on Heckingbottom bringing in the youngsters we really are screwed.
