Just keep up the noise to encourage our players the last few trips to Wembley not been encouraging to the players.Make them hear that the fans have their backsEvery single man woman and child and whatever........you get me just don't stop cheering them boys on coz previous atmosphere there has been so flat and resigned to the inevitable that it effects the team 100%
They started in 1986 I believe, they still exist in a different format from the originals. It doesn't matter that the championship is the old division 2, they had playoffs then and they still have them today, hence why I said they've been going for coming up forty years.Technically I'm correct if I care to be picky? and I often am. The "Championship" has only been going since 2004. Either way the format we know now, 4 teams, final a one off game at a neutral venue has been going since 1990 I think. In that period, again I believe only 4 (includes the two mentioned) sixth place teams have been promoted. So its not often really.
Started 1987 but format was nothing like as it is now, so its irrelevant. They played against the 3rd bottom from division above and 6th place wasn't involved. 1989/90 was 3rd -6th place playoffs. Also 40 years or not the point was the 6th place doesn't often go up! 4 times I believe in that period, which isn't often at all. They started in 1986 I believe, they still exist in a different format from the originals.
